Fish with Attitude Preview
Have you ever met a fish with attitude? We all have at one point, typically at a seafood restaurant where a rogue tuna steak decides, "Heck no, you ain't digesting me," and haunts you three hours later with a vengeance. If you're up for another round with sneering seafood, Crowdstar has a new animal-breeding game for iOS called Fish With Attitude. These fish interact with each other, exhibit different personalities, and best of all, you don't have to ingest them!
Park EXP Preview
A theme park for animals? Sure, why not? We already have specialized foods for our four-legged friends, and we can buy clothing and accessories for them. We can even have our pets blessed by priests, studied by psychics, and pampered at animal hotels. Who are we to deny them a ride on the Tilt-a-Whirl? With Park EXP, animals finally have the opportunity to eat a bunch of cotton candy, ride on a roller coaster, and barf up a half-digested sugar-cloud onto their parents' laps.
Mobbles Preview
You know what's a fun word to say? Mobbles. Coincidentally, it's also the name of a game! Arriving on Android and iOS on May 30, Mobbles (still fun to say) is best described as Tamagotchi with attitude. Whereas the original virtual pets did little more than hop around and drop poo everywhere, the creatures in Mobbles (which are also called Mobbles (Mobbles!)) adopt more exciting habits. Like skateboarding!
Horse Haven Review
Horse Haven would seem to be a no-brainer when it comes to constructing a successful Facebook game, combining the virtual pet mechanics of raising and breeding favorite animals with farm sim elements of growing crops and managing livestock. Even better, Horse Haven focuses the whole thing around raising, breeding, and working horses. The basic idea is that you move from a starter horse to obtaining better horses, and then breeding new horses to increase your ranch's size and replace older horses that are retired "over the rainbow."

The creators of the incredibly popular mobile title Smurfs' Village are taking another pass at the sim genre with the release of Fumbies: The Cloud Creatures. Taking many a page from its predecessor, the game combines the familiar with a very Sims and Pet Society-style feel, granting players the ability to care for a variety of quirky and cute bear… squirrel things. Relatively basic, the core of the app doesn't feel all that unique, but it is polished with a rather original presentation and a good number of perks are peppered throughout.
