    Things just aren't looking too good for the Ouya these days, and the company's latest botched handling of their Free the Games Fund controversy sure isn't helping matters much either: now causing one angered developer to pull their game from the Ouya library entirely. In an effort to snag more exclusive Ouya games for the remainder of 2013 and well into 2014, Ouya launched a new campaign called the "Free the Games Fund" last month, which sought for additional donations by Kickstarter backers to help bring a slew of new games to the homemade Android-powered console.

    It's been a bit of a bumpy ride for the launch of Kickstarter success story Ouya, the home-based Android-powered console. After an initial delay of release to commercial users, reports of dysfunctional controllers, and a limited game library, Ouya has already begun to set some plans in motion to ensure that the rest of 2013 and beyond goes a whole lot smoother. And they're preparing to tackle the most pressing issue directly head on: the lack of exclusive games.

    I don't know how I feel about OUYA. For most of you the console is only a day old, so this may seem excusable; but as a Kickstarter backer, I had a head start on the general public. My OUYA arrived a month ago, which should be more than enough time to form a solid opinion. And yet I'm having a hard time making my mind up. That in itself speaks volumes about OUYA.

A little less than a year ago, Julie Uhrman went to Kickstarter with a crazy idea: an Android powered console that would be cheap to develop for, cheap to purchase, and available to backers in a matter of months.     The ladies and gentlemen behind Ouya had a wee brush with the law yesterday near the parking lot of the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Android-based gaming console is being pitched at E3 via a rented outdoor space. Ouya founder Julie Uhrman says that the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is doing what it can to disrupt their showing - including getting the fuzz involved.
