I would like to ask everyone who may be reading these brief introductory paragraphs right now to kindly disregard the frantic pace with which I am typing these words. For you see, the faster I get this intro typed and formatted into my computer, then the faster I can return to my usual Wednesday night activity: staring at the wall and twiddling my thumbs until the clock strikes midnight, when I can finally indulge myself in some great new mobile games!So I hope you won't mind if these opening paragraphs feel rushed in any way, because the more I think about playing a platform game that has you running and jumping along dazzling rings in a bright and vibrant circus tent, or hacking and slashing my way through a pixelated ninja universe, or even hoping my slot machine luck will get me to the end of an epic RPG adventure, then the more anxious I get about finishing this article and moving on to actually playing the games!

Wouldn't it be cool if there was some way we could actually visit the many vast and wonderful places that we experience in our favorite mobile games from day to day? Maybe it's just me, but a lot of those fantasy worlds seem to have a lot more going for them than the dull suburban streets sitting right outside my window.All of tonight's new mobile games have been specifically designed to take you to some fascinating places: whether that means a bright cartoony kingdom where a boxer-wearing warrior is nothing out of the norm; a twisted fairytale world where all of your favorite characters have a screw or two loose; or even a blinking and exhilarating neon world where jumping is the difference between success and a never-ending fall.

If I had to take four of tonight's most anticipated new mobile games and wind their premises together into one descriptive sentence that outlines what I'll be doing for the rest of my night, this is how I would do it: "After eating a champion's meal at Chipotle, I quickly mounted my jousting steed, rode through a randomly generated dungeon that was practically teeming with loot, and joined up with my little squid friend to determine the fate of the world."

In a time when mobile game developers are able to do some pretty amazing things with graphics engines to make insanely gritty, and highly lifelike representations of real-life themes like racing and war, one can't help but prepare themself for all of the hyper-realistic new games that are always just waiting around the next bend in the mobile road. Well guess what? All of the coolest looking new mobile games on the forecast tonight are the complete opposite of that, and trade in grittiness for oodles of cuteness!

We're almost at the point where we can count the remaining days of summer on both of our hands, and so it's more important now than ever to make sure we live out each one of the next few days to the absolute fullest. And by absolute fullest, I mean crashing on the couch all day and playing some of the awesome new mobile games that are headed out onto the App Store tonight!

You know how some people are into celebrating Christmas in July? Well I'm all about starting a new tradition of celebrating Halloween in August, and all of the new iOS games that are headed our way tonight are certainly giving me some pretty great inspiration when it comes time to finally decide on a costume this year!

One thing I really love about the mobile games industry today is that mobile games can come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes. Not only can I play any type of video game genre that I like within the simple tap of a finger, but I can also lose myself in a number of wild lifestyles and scenarios that could only be possible on the diversity of mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.

So this is where all the mobile games have been hiding! If you happened to feel like the last few weeks were a little light on the new mobile game releases, then you might want to get your gaming fingers ready, and brace yourself for the seriously awesome onslaught of new games barraging onto the App Store tonight.
