Rappin’ Granny Review
Rappin' Granny, as you might expect, is about a granny. One who raps. And also wraps. Better put, it's about a hip-hop granny with a boat load of gifts that need to be delivered to her many, many grandchildren. It's sort of a music/puzzle hybrid, with a silly premise and sillier presentation. But it also feels more like a basic concept than a full-fledged game and won't hold your attention for very long.
Grateful Dead game coming to Hippie Haven that is Facebook
What a long, strange trip it is. As heard at Rolling Stone, the game developer Curious Sensehas announced that it is working on a Facebook game based on the music and "canon" of the legendary rock band, The Grateful Dead.
Zombie Mosh Review
Much like the flesh-dripping living corpses themselves, the zombie phenomenon refuses to die. We've seen zombies take over the world in multiple movies, we've seen zombies annihilated by defensive suburban flora, and even one of this year's best console games featured a decidedly non-sequitur zombie expansion pack. And now Facebook has Zombie Mosh, which mixes the rocking undead with various elements of Frontierville and Nightclub City. The concept has undeniable charm and the friendly developers plan to release additional features as the beta progresses, but it's hard to see this as more than a novelty game that should have been scheduled for a Halloween release.
WINtA Review
For many years now I've been a fan of the rhythm game. Long before Rock Band and Guitar Hero took the world by storm, it was a niche genre that usually involved finding small print run games or importing them from overseas. At this point I consider myself something of an expert in this particular field. So when I heard that the creator of Parappa the Rappa had released an iPhone rhythm game, I downloaded it as fast as I could.

Last year's attempt to bring the Rock Band franchise to the iPhone was bittersweet at best. While a competent mobile rocker, Rock Band for the iPhone lacked a number of features we'd hoped for, and it failed to learn from the successes of its competition. Rock Band Reloaded manages to fix all of that, delivering an outstanding mobile performance that addresses seemingly every issue we had with the original.

Set in a universe created based on whatever music is currently playing, you're not given any real objective as such. It's more a case of floating around, attacking anything that shoots in your direction, and exploring this weird, trippy world.
