You thought that just because it's Friday the Gamescom news would be letting up soon, right? WRONG! We've already had some pretty exciting announcements from developer Microids this week, including their acquisition of the Agatha Christie license and a progress update on the production of Syberia 3. Well it turns out that Microids had one last trick stashed up their sleeve, and have officially announced today a new game in their critically acclaimed Dracula adventure series, to be titled Dracula 5: The Blood Legacy.
Yes, you read that right. After countless years and hundreds of other point-and-click adventures to keep us busy in the meantime, Microids has announced that another installment in the genre-defining adventure series Syberia has currently gone into production. A direct follow-up to 2004's Syberia 2, the upcoming Syberia 3 will see the return of everyone's favorite adventurer Kate Walker in another sure-to-be magical adventure through rich and exotic locations.
You know what the world doesn't have enough of? Kart racers. The days when Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing inspired a legion of copycats are long behind us.
