Kingdoms of Camelot: Ascension, Developer Diary #3
So far, players have gotten a glimpse at Kingdoms of Camelot: Ascension and its three factions in developer diaries #1 and #2. This week, though, we wanted to dig into the specific benefits that players will be getting when they ascend a city. As a player begins to rebuild their Ascended City, they will be given access to a series of faction themed blessings and new buildings, the City Center and Grove, to help them manage their city better than they previously could.Kingdoms of Camelot: Ascension, Developer Diary #2
Druid, Fey and Briton: these are the factions in Kingdoms of Camelot. Up until now, players have known very little about these factions. As mentioned in last week's developer diary, Kingdoms of Camelot: Ascension will heavily focus on each of the three factions. Aligning an Ascended City with a faction will shape how that city grows and what benefits the player will receive. This choice is on a per city basis, allowing players to eventually have cities of each faction. Players will be able to choose which of their eight cities become Druid, Briton or Fey to further enhance how they wish to play Kingdoms of Camelot.Kingdoms of Camelot: Ascension, Developer Diary #1

The release of Kingdoms of Camelot: Ascension looks to expand cities in a new way.Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North Review
Social gamers are likely familiar with Kabam's Facebook game Kingdoms of Camelot. The slow-paced strategy game, akin to Evony, is tailored to a more hardcore gaming ilk, and suffice to say it has done well over the years. Now, the game is seeing a new iOS upgrade in the form of Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North. Building upon the already existing world, most of the play is more of the same (only on mobile) and enjoyable for those who are already familiar with the title. That said, it's not the most forgiving game in the world for newcomers.Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North Preview
Do you love social play in the medieval world, but wish you could take it on the go? Then you're in luck. Kabam is bringing the fun and strategy of the original Facebook Kingdoms of Camelot to iOS very soon with Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North.Kabam looks beyond Facebook, expands to iOS and Kongregate
Despite making a decent sized "boom" on Facebook with games such as Dragons of Atlantis and Kingdoms of Camelot, Kabam is not content with having all of their eggs in one basket, so in a surprise move, they're bringing games to both iOS and Kongregate.Hot Summer in the City: 2011 Casual Game Outlook
By Robin Boyar
As most of the United States struggles with record heat waves, the summer of 2011 may also be recorded as one of the hottest in the brief history of casual games. As the mercury continues to reach its highest heights, so are the valuations on casual games companies—witness Zygna's upcoming $1 billion IPO and EA's $750 million+ purchase of PopCap. Yet, Nintendo's staggering loss of approximately $300 million in Q1 shows a marketplace struggling with balance. Overheated, interglacial or ice age? Where is casual gaming going? An examination of key indicators provides some insights to this changing climate.Kabam goes international with new European office
Global Warfare developer Kabam recently secured a hefty $85 million in funding, and now the company is using at least some of that money to expand its operations internationally with a new Luxembourg-based office.
