From the development team at Dough Main, the game mixes light business management and exploration elements and combines them into a package suitable for younger gamers. For this reason the game can be pretty simple, but there's also some fun to be had.

You know those crane machines - the ones you find at arcades and amusement parks - that let you spend a dollar in the hopes of possibly winning a stuffed animal? Smurfs' Grabber is a lot like that. Problem is, that doesn't make for a very good video game. Throw in a payment scheme that makes you pay per turn and you have not only a game that isn't all that fun, but one that could be quite expensive, as well.

It's amazing what happens to perception when there's a timer in your ear. It shouldn't be too hard to look at two cards with 5 little pictures on each of them and pick out the one that appears on both, but there was numerous times I stared at the screen for what seemed like forever, totally convinced there was some sort of mistake there's no way.... oh, no wait, I found it.
Paper Train HD Review
Anyone who grew up with model trains, Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars knows there's only one way to play with transportation toys—by crashing them into each other, full force, with imaginary flames, flying twists of mutilated chrome and the shrieks of terrified bystanders. Such folks will have to curb those diabolic tendencies in Paper Train HD, a fast-paced strategy game that must keep those choo-choos a-chuggin' in one piece.

As a parent, I love it when one of my kids takes an interest in my work. Sometimes I'll ask them to play a game I'm reviewing and let me know what they think. It's just a great experience all around.
