Pineapple Smash Crew Review
It was only a couple years ago that I discovered that I absolutely LOVE pineapple. A couple of friends came over and made dinner for my wife and I that included grilled pineapple kabobs. The thing you have to understand is that I'm typically a pretty fussy eater, but in the name of being polite I had made the decision that I was going to eat whatever they made regardless of whether I thought I liked it or not. I stabbed the yellow fruit with my fork and put on my best poker face to hide the utter fear I had that I would have to eat this stuff I was obviously going to hate. It was about 4 or 5 seconds after the juicy amazingness exploded into my mouth that I realized it was probably the best thing I ever tasted.Cell: emergence Review

We like to think that if any nasty germs gain access to our insides, our helpful antibodies will simply kill them all off and we won't even notice. Perhaps we'll get a bit of a sniffle, but that's it. Of course, then you get all the various movies and books and the like that envision the story of a virus that our bodies simply cannot cope with, and it ends up going on a rampage through the human race, cutting the world population down to size.Pixeljunk Eden Review
Q-Games has been on a weird tangent lately. In the beginning, they made and released their Pixeljunk brand of games only on the Playstation Network for the PS3 and PSP. They enjoyed a decent amount of success that way, developing a reputation as a developer of niche, daring and interesting games. Since then they've branched out, announcing a version of Pixeljunk Monsters for Facebook of all places, and have followed that up by porting what some consider to be their best game, Pixeljunk Eden, to the PC.Mr Legs Review

Every once in a while, a smartphone game comes along that isn't just another take on an existing, tired concept. I mean, we all like to stick with what we know, but let's face it, it's great to have a brand new experience, if only every once in a while. The Sandbox Preview
The term "sandbox game" gets thrown around whenever a developer provides a large amount of choice in an open world environment. In my humble opinion, no game has earned that title more so than Minecraft, and we've all seen how well that has done. Notch's little baby also spawned a thousand clones in multiple styles seemingly overnight, each to varying degrees of success. A few have landed on iOS, but none of them have been brazen enough to straight-up call itself The Sandbox, which is coming soon to your favorite Apple mobile device.GameSpy announces developer lineup for Indie Open House
GameSpy Technology has announced the four developers that will take part in the next semester of Indie Open House. Indie Open House is a project that invites independent developers to the GameSpy/IGN office. During their six-month residency, the developers will be allotted resources such as office space, consultation, peer support and technology in order to help the teams build upon their ideas.AVSEQ Review
You know how in a rhythm based game like Rez, Lumines or Patapon, everything you do or interact with adds to the music of the action? Whether it's a drum beat or riff or whatever. it all just builds and builds until you're playing this fantastically organic song just by playing the game? It's quite euphoric when it all comes together and you feel like you're honest to god creating music. Yea, I love that feeling. AVSEQ doesn't have any of that.Oil Rush Review
Hybrid game genres can sometimes be obvious, but for the most part, the ones that stick out the most are those that you never really considered before. For some reason, combining real time strategy and tower defense never crossed my mind. Luckily the Russian team Unigine Corp were wearing their thinking hats on the day they came up with Oil Rush, which is billed to combine the two genres. It's no secret that I'm a big tower defense fan, but I've always found RTS games a little much to wrap my head around, despite trying many different times. Either way the split happens, there's never any doubt that Oil Rush is a strategy game through and through.
