Fans of The Sims FreePlay (and I know there are a lot of you), rejoice! The game has just received a major update in honor of its one-year anniversary, ushering in a heap of new content -- some of which is Christmas-themed.
Regardless of how you feel about The Simpsons these days, I think we can all agree the show knows how to celebrate the holidays. The annual Treehouse of Horror episodes are the most obvious example, but it would be foolish to dismiss the series' many heartwarming (and hilarious) Christmas episodes. If you've never had the pleasure of seeing one, or simply pine for as much festive content as you can get your mitten-covered hands on, you'll be pleased as Christmas punch to know that The Simpsons: Tapped Out has just received a holiday makeover.
I know, I know. A Christmas update to Angry Birds Seasons was pretty much inevitable. But don't let that put a damper on your excitement! Players can expect 25 new levels throughout the month—one a day until we finally reach Christmas. As developer Rovio puts it in the update in the App Store description, the birds have found themselves in a "Winter Wonderham." Having written an amount of bad puns that likely nears the quadruple digits, I feel qualified to say that's one of the best-worst ones you'll ever see.
If you love the holiday season as much as we do, then you'll be happy to know that Nimblebit has just pushed live a Christmas-y update to Tiny Tower. There's festive music, Santas and elves, apartments filled with Christmas trees and wreaths, and all sorts of other merry surprises.
