Walking late one night, the curious Raphael picked a rose from a castle garden. Unfortunately the owner of the garden was a cruel (but cultured!) beast who demanded payment for the trespass. After a bit of old fashioned negotiating, Raphael's daughter, Bella, agreed to stay with the beast in exchange for Raphael's life. Now Raphael has found a way to free his daughter, but he's going to need your help to do it.
Detective Quest: The Crystal Slipper is a hidden object game created by Elephant Games. You are the sleuth chasing the girl who lost her crystal slipper at the prince's ball around a magical kingdom where you'll meet fairy godmothers, witches, ogres and a lot of other storybook characters. Gamezebo's quick start strategy guide will provide you with detailed images, tips, information, and hints on how to play your best game.
Detective Quest: The Crystal Slipper starts with a familiar story... a handsome Prince fell in love with a beautiful woman who he danced with at the royal ball. She left suddenly, without even telling him her name, and leaving behind only a crystal slipper for him to remember her by. So the Prince enlists in the help of a detective (that's you!) to help him find his fair maiden. From then onwards, the Cinderella tale takes some unfamiliar turns and becomes an original story. It comes from Elephant Games, a studio which has clearly been busy recently, having also released the excellent Christmas Stories: Nutcracker less than a month ago.
Even though the "scary" hidden object game has been overdone, there are still plenty of great games released in this subgenre every year. Unfortunately, for every great game, we're also given tons of duds, and Twilight School is one such disappointment.
We've all wondered it at some point, whether it was the first time you saw a graveyard posing as a junkyard, after finding your hundredth kitchen utensil, or upon discovering a chainsaw in a bedroom: why are Hidden Object games so messy? Besides the obvious response of, "That's the whole point," I think we deserve to know the real reason. Which is definitely one or all of the following five.
Grandpa Joe and his Grandson Tom have bought a barn for their farm, and they should probably get out more, because they're way too excited about the whole thing. In particular, they're excited by the idea that they might one day be able to afford to buy a tractor, which will be a monumental day and something they have so far only dared to dream about.
In the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired Dark Mysteries: The Soul Keeper, players will work alongside Charles Dexter Ward to stop an evil spirit from murdering the inhabitants of Pawtuxet, and stealing their souls to achieve immortality. Based on the short Lovecraft novel The Case of Charles Dexter Ward, this dark hidden object adventure is filled with restless spirits and grisly supernatural affairs, but offers little in terms of memorable thrills or edge-of-your-seat excitement.
