However, boring dialogue and tedious gameplay make the game less entertaining than it should be.The short description sounds great. You are a private detective called to a major Hollywood studio to investigate the disappearance of $10 million dollars, a famous actress, and the latest print of a new movie. You'll visit multiple movie sets, offering a lot of variety, and solve hidden object tasks, inventory puzzles, and mini-games. Most characters are drawn to resemble famous movie stars, from Will Smith to Clint Eastwood.

The premise of Book of Legends is no different than the ton of successful hidden object / adventure globe-trotting mysteries that have come before, and it even brings some new twists to the table, but ultimately the game is less satisfying than some of its peers. The story begins when a book that Charleston takes from the library turns out to be the Book of Legends, a tome that holds the key to finding King Arthur's legendary sword Excalibur. Mark and Mandi's Love Story is a light-hearted "spot the difference" game that includes lots of simple mini-games like shuffled-image jigsaws and memory games. It's a bit rough around the edges, and isn't particularly challenging to start, but it's the sort of game that grows on you as you play.

The Mystery P.I. franchise continues with Mystery P.I. - The New York Fortune, the third game. This one feels like a twin to the previous game, Mystery P.I. - The Vegas Heist (which didn't exactly excite), except that it lives and breathes New York.The story sounds similar to the original. Instead of an older woman hiring you to find her ticket to her fortune, a billionaire's family hires you to find a hidden fortune within 17 hours or else it goes to the cat and dog. Upon success, the family will reward you with a fake $25 million. Obviously, the estate contains a vast fortune. That's all there is to the story until you wrap it up in the end.
