Nightmare on the Pacific is noteworthy due to its cinematic cutscenes and full voice acting, in addition to its balance of hidden object and puzzle gameplay. Unfortunately, some pacing issues late in the game put a damper on the otherwise enjoyable hidden object game.

This hidden object game isn't lacking for good ideas, well-crafted puzzles, or enjoyable searches, but it gets so many small, yet vital things wrong that you'll hate just about every second you spend with it.

Farmscapes, the latest effort from Russian game maker Playrix (Gardenscapes, Royal Envoy), tells the story of a teenaged kid who is sent to his grandfather's farm to make sure he doesn't waste his summer vacation inside playing video games. The irony of it all is that once you pick up this devilishly habit-forming match-three puzzler, you're likely to do just that: Spend plenty of prime tobogganing time in front of your computer.
