Punch Quest Review
It could be argued that the endless runner genre needs a bit of a kick in the pants, replete as it is with familiar mechanics and predictable power-ups. Rocketcat Games and developer Madgarden have most definitely gotten the memo though, and they've decided instead to give it a punch in the face. A glorious, glorious punch in the face.
Armed Heroes Review
Say this for Armed Heroes (formerly known as Armed Heroes Online): It's not misleading you at all with its title. This freemium fantasy action MMORPG does contain heroes, and they are in fact armed. Chinese developer EGLS didn't provide it with a whole lot of originality, but it's a competent way to do some questing with or without other people helping you on your iOS device of choice.
Ayakashi: Ghost Guild Review
Ayakashi: Ghost Guild is a card battling game that's heavily influenced by Japanese myth—in other words, it's not something you would have expected to see from publishing giant Zynga even a year ago. On one hand, it's good to see that Zynga is trying new things on top of (finally) getting serious about mobile games. On the other hand, Zynga needs to make a greater effort because Ayakashi is not very exciting.SpaceTanks Review
SpaceTanks sounds like a cool enough idea, in theory: drive around in futuristic tanks and blow up the computer-controlled opposition, or take on your very own friends in galactic military combat. Unfortunately, I don't like having fun in theory.
Monster Quest Walkthrough
Monster Quest is an action simulation game from GREE, where you are tasked with building a thriving habitat for monsters to grow and prosper. Making a place fit for dragons can be a bit of a daunting task but with Gamezebo's quick start guide you'll be off and running in no time.
Angry Heroes Online Review
Angry Heroes Online has some great art going for it, and it's been loaded with plenty of features and options to play around with. Yet, it doesn't do a very good job of disguising the fact that there really isn't… that much to do. You boot it up, you hit some static images to activate new quests, then you wait around to activate some more. I can see why these characters are angry.
Bubble Galaxy With Buddies Review
At this point, I think it's safe to assert that developers have ceased to make any meaningful stabs at innovation in the bubble popper genre; these days, achieving success involves little more than taking what works and refining it. The good news is that this approach appears to work spectacularly for Bubble Galaxies with Buddies. It pulls inspiration from Zynga's popular With Friends brand and meshes it together with the 60-second blitz template casual gamers have come to love. Let's just say the bubble on this market hasn't popped yet.
