Plants War Review
The new RTS Plants War is an intense action-strategy game pitting you, at the head of the Plants, against the computer-controlled forces of the Beasts in a struggle for dominance of a post-human world. The basics of battle are simple enough to grasp in this fast-paced free-to-play game, but unless you're willing to sink money or some serious grinding time into it, you can expect to have a very tough row to hoe.
Tap Safari Review
Build an amazing animal safari in Tap Safari, or at least try to. Tap Safari, which is similar to Zynga's Dream Zoo, allows you to build a safari full of wild animals, cross-breed them to make even more exotic animals, and decorate it to make your safari truly stand out. Unfortunately, in the end, there just isn't much to do in the game.
Microsoft Flight Review
I'd be lying if I said I was well-versed in deep transportation simulation games. Up until to this point the only one I'd ever spent any significant time with is the Railworks Train Simulator series. The idea of a game trying to recreate to the best of its abilities what it's actually like to drive a train or in this case fly a plane, is intense. It's also a natural fit for games. Some of these games have the ability to give you a pretty decent impression on whether you might want to pursue "the real thing". One of the long-time leaders in the sim world was the Microsoft Flight Simulator series, and it's recently been reborn as the free-to-play Microsoft Flight, so let's take a look at what it has to offer.
The Walking Dead Social Game Preview
Today AMC and RockYou announced plans to release The Walking Dead Social Game on Facebook next month. Players will be tasked with finding weapons and fighting off zombies while also tracking down resources and setting up camps in relative safe havens. While the game will not directly follow the plot of the show, it will intersect with key moments from the series and include opportunities for interaction with well-known characters.
