Dexter: Slice of Life Review
When I first ran Dexter: Slice of Life through its paces back in October, the game was a boring, borderline broken mess. Based on our criticisms, the developers have gone back in to tweak and polish the game up a bit. Has this cold-blooded killer come back with a vengeance, or is this Slice of Life merely another sliver of mediocrity?

Ever aspire to be a drug dealer? Yeah, me neither. But gamers can now live vicariously through Ecko|Code's latest Facebook offering, Weeds Social Club, based off of the hit TV series. The game has an interesting baggie of tricks, but it might also be one toke over the line.
Interview: Ecko|Code and the untapped potential of branded games
Ecko|Code has had an interesting history. After starting out in the console business with the release of Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure, the developer then set its sites on the iPhone with Dexter: The Game. The success of that led to more Showtime licensed properties for Facebook, including the just launched Weeds Social Club and the upcoming Dexter: Slice of Life and The Borgias. Gamezebo caught up with Marc Fernandez, Ecko|Code's executive vice president of product development, about the untapped potential of licensed video games as well as what the studio may have in store in the future.

The Borgias is a Showtime TV series that tells the story of "the original crime family," the titular Borgias family, in 15th century Rome. The first season debuted this past April, and soon a game based on the show will be coming to Facebook, developed by the same team behind Weeds Social Club and the upcoming Dexter: Slice of Life.

The team at Ecko|Code will be following up the recent launch of Weeds Social Club with a game based on another Showtime television series: Dexter. And while discussing the game with Marc Fernandez, executive vice president of product development at Ecko|Code, we learned a few interesting details about the upcoming Facebook game. Series star Michael C. Hall will be making an appearance, as will the show's writers.
Dexter: Slice of Life Preview
After bringing Weeds to Facebook in the form of Weeds Social Club, developer Ecko | Code now has its sites set on another television show: Dexter. Dexter: Slice of Life will put players in the shoes of everyone's favorite serial killer/blood spatter analyst, Dexter Morgan, and will coincide with the upcoming sixth season of the television show.
