    Daedalic changes Blackguards based on Steam Early Access feedback

    Blackguards developer Daedalic Entertainment recently released a trailer for their turn-based strategy game, showcasing the praise the game is receiving from the community. Blackguards is currently participating in Steam's Early Access program, allowing interested gamers to jump into the current pre-release build of the game, in order to provide feedback to the developers at Daedalic Entertainment. In a press release issued to media outlets, Daedalic Entertainment Senior Producer, Kai Fiebig, said, "To us, the Early Access has been very beneficial. We gathered a lot of important and constructive fan-feedback during the first weeks of Early Access and will add features according to the feedback until the game's release."One of the biggest changes Daedalic Entertainment has planned is the implementation of advanced character customization options.

    Remember a few days ago when news broke that Daedalic Entertainment would be making a long-awaited sequel to their early adventure hit, The Whispered World? Well get ready to see what the years have done to the whimsical and magical dream world that adventure gamers know and love, as a brand new debut trailer for Silence - The Whispered World 2 has just been released this week. And if this video doesn't perfectly set the tone for what's to come, then I don't know what will!Clocking in at an impressive three and a half minutes' worth of beautifully rendered cutscenes, the debut trailer introduces gamers to new protagonist Noah and his little sister Renie, as the pair struggle with survival in a war-ridden land of ice and snow.     As they've proven with the Deponia series, Daedalic knows how to make a solid adventure game. In fact, some have even compared the studio's recent output to that of LucasArts in their prime. That's a heavy compliment, but it isn't unwarranted. The studio has an undeniable knack for telling a good story, and their puzzle design is nothing to scoff at, either.
