Woho World Review
Woho World is a management sim about running a sunny island resort that begins with a typical tutorial. The tutorial asks you to purchase a Ghost House from the store and put it on your island, so you know how to purchase and place buildings. Diligently I clicked upon the store, but what I found there was distressing. The purchase arrow was pointing not to a Ghost House, but to a River Drift ride. Purchasing and placing the River Drift did not satisfy the tutorial. Scouring the atore revealed that the Ghost House the game wished me to purchase was a locked item that wouldn't be available to me until I reached level 22.
Stinktopia Review
There are plenty of farming games that have you harvesting crops and city building games that have you erecting factories, but even still, there's really nothing like Stinktopia. At least, in terms of content. It's a game that has you producing all manner of foul smelling items to help create giant stink bombs, which you can then use to attack your friends' stinktopias. It's goofy and juvenile, but the theme is about the only unique thing about the game, as Stinktopia is pretty by the books as far as social games go.
Stinktopia Walkthrough
Stinktopia is an iPhone game developed by BeAMan Games that lets you farm for gas so that you can create giant stink bombs to drop on your friends. Mini Kings Review
It's good to be king. And that's especially true in Mini Kings. Though it bears much in common with games like FrontierVille, a fresh medieval setting and some great new features make Mini Kings a worthy competitor. You can build a kingdom of your own while destroying those of your friends.
TrainCity Review
I came to TrainCity as one of the few Americans who still rides trains on a daily basis, whether it's by dodging knife fights on Chicago's Green Line or suffering through yuppie commentaries on Desperate Housewives on the statelier Metra line. As such, perhaps I expected a bit too much from this charming but simple offering by LIFO Interactive and Gamevil. TrainCity has passenger trains, yes, but it wrestles with just how to implement them into the growing city around it (much like Houston or Los Angeles), and while the overall gameplay isn't bad at all, TrainCity is probably best left to the most casual of city builders.
The Burbs Review
The Burbs takes the now incredibly familiar city-building aspects found in other Facebook games (Social City, CityVille, etc.) and does nothing to add any originality to the formula. Specifically, the game is so similar to Social City that I'm surprised Playdom hasn't spoken out in protest.
