Battle Nations Review
With Empires & Allies, Zynga essentially took the CityVille template and added combat to it. And with Battle Nations, developer Z2Live has done something very similar. In a lot of ways it's Trade Nations with turn-based combat. You still build up a city, harvest resources, and create goods. Only now you have to deal with training troops and defending your territory as well. It doesn't have the deepest city building mechanic, and the simplified combat leaves something to be desired, but when put together the two halves make for a largely enjoyable experience.PyramidValley Review
An older game by the name of PyramidVille has been seeing a bit of promotion in recent time on Facebook. A social city-building games, it whisks users back to the realm of ancient Egypt and tasks them with the construction of a thriving, ancient community. Filled with a variety of common social game mechanics, it is a game that involves its fair share of resource management, as well as several borrowed features. The Oregon Trail: American Settler Walkthrough

By Alicia Ashby
Casual gamers never tire of building cities or planting crops in an increasingly fanciful array of environments. Glu Games is quite happy to feed mobile gamers hungry for more city builders with Toy Village, a fairly basic city building game with a novel look and premise. In Toy Village, you're building a city for toy characters, so everything has a whimsical look right out of Babes in Toyland or Toy Story. Your main NPC mascot is Patch, a fluffy stuffed dog, and the buildings you erect distinctly look and feel like they've been assembled from colorful plastic. The Oregon Trail: American Settler Review
By Jim Squires
Let's get something out of the way right up front: The Oregon Trail: American Settler is a cookie cutter copy of Zynga's Frontierville. Now that we've acknowledged that, there are a few other things we should acknowledge too. Like the fact that the game was developed by Gameloft, one of the few companies that can somehow simultaneously clone a game and yet make it better. Or the fact that by adding The Oregon Trail license, they've managed to steer an existing franchise into a sensible new direction.Tiny Village Walkthrough
Tiny Village is full of pre-historic fun, allowing you to build a village from the resources you have assigned workers to locate and harvest. You will be able to complete quests and craft various items in the stores such as clothing, tools, edible goodies and more. As you play the game, you will be able to unlock fun premium goods to make your village amazing. Gamezebo's quick start strategy guide will provide you with detailed images, tips, information, and hints on how to play your best game. The Oregon Trail: American Settler Preview

Over the last few years, Gameloft has become something of a master at mimicry. Their Order & Chaos Online, for example, brings a World of Warcraft inspired experience to the iPhone flawlessly - a feat most had thought impossible. Likewise, their Modern Combat series has brought a taste of Call of Duty style shooting to the App Store. Their catalogue reads like a who's who of console quality games with clear inspirations. Now, however, the big G are turning their eyes to the world of Facebook-style gaming; and it's a move that should leave Zynga shaking in their boots.
