SQUIDS Wild West Review
SQUIDS Wild West is worth the money. I don't really like evaluating games from the cost/benefit perspective, but SQUIDS Wild West is undeniably worth the budget price it costs in the App Store. This game could sell for $35 on the 3DS and it wouldn't be out of place next to the other pieces of software available for the system. Yet at launch, this game only costs 99 cents. Its artwork, its animations, its character -- almost everything about SQUIDS exudes warmth and attention to detail. It is a labor of love, not just a product. And, most importantly, it's fun.
Twist Pilot Preview
I find flight simulators dreadfully boring; sue me! (editor's note: don't. Please don't.) There's just something far too aimless about commandeering a virtual plane and going to cool places I'm not actually visiting. Almost like Being Grounded: The Video Game. Centipede: Origins Review
Bust out your roller skates, brightly colored headbands and leggings, and grab a fist full of quarters, because we're going back to the eighties. Oh wait, sorry. Just go to the App Store and download Centipede Origins instead. It's much easier and you'll look far less ridiculous. The Atari classic is back with some major graphical upgrades, new game modes, and more--the biggest being that it's now far more portable than an arcade cabinet.
