After spending thirty years with either a mouse/keyboard or joypad in hand, game developers are still adjusting to the brave new world of touch controls. It's been years since us gamers happily migrated to smart phones and tablets, but in many ways mobile gaming is still untamed territory. The Basement Collection Preview

There are very few game designers out there who show their fans as much love as Team Meat's Edmund McMillen. If you follow him on Twitter or frequent his website, chances are you've seen him sharing and praising a whole lot of fan art. And if that weren't enough, he also takes the time to answer questions over on his Formspring page, fielding just about every bizarre (and good!) question tossed his way. Now, he's gearing up to release The Basement Collection, a love letter to all the fans who have supported him and his work throughout the years.ETERNITY WARRIORS 2 Walkthrough

Whether in Triple Town, 10000000, or Puzzle Forge, the match-3 game has been put through its paces lately in mashups with other genres. With Toybox, developer Barrel of Donkeys tries to take things a step further, delivering two styles of play at once. And like the made-up, hybrid games of an imaginative child, the result is at once lovely and inconsistent.A Space Shooter Blitz Preview

I like shoot 'em ups quite a bit, but rare are the days when I play one for more than 10 minutes before cursing at it and quitting (I'm looking at you, Ikaruga). They have a tendency to be profoundly demanding and difficult -- ironically the two ingredients that keep most diehard fans coming back. You'd think A Space Shooter Blitz, a shoot 'em up coming to Facebook (and iOS and Android) on September 20, would dial things down a bit for the so-called casual audience, but that's not the case. In fact, developer Frima Studios is tagging it as a "bullet hell" title. I should probably brace myself for the yelling of curse words.Rock Paper Sumo Preview
By Dant Rambo
I like to think that an understanding of Japanese culture isn't crucial to identifying what makes Sumo wrestling so great. It's two heavier set dudes struggling to push each other out of a ring -- surely that concept defies borders. But just in case it doesn't, Frima Studios' Rock Paper Sumo has made it a bit more palatable by merging it with an activity many of us know all too well: rock-paper-scissors.Dollar Dash Preview
By Dant Rambo
Candygun Games, the folks behind last year's Dead Block, have partnered with publisher Kalypso Media to release their upcoming title Dollar Dash. The game will challenge players to prove their worth as virtual thieves, going head-to-head against others in competitive heist scenarios.
