Grow Away! Review
By David Oxford
We've all had it happen to us once or twice: binging on junk and other food that tastes good, but isn't exactly good for us. Afterwards, all you really want is a good salad or maybe a wrap to help flush that feeling out of your system and balance things in your diet, if only just a bit.Stunt Star: The Hollywood Years Review
By David Oxford
The name "Stunt Star: The Hollywood Years" sounds like an action game, but in reality it's a physics-based title not unlike Angry Birds and its ilk. Rather than focusing on the environment and how to best destroy it and all who dwell within, though, your goal is to nail that perfect landing... or at least get close enough.Zaxxon Escape Review
By Dant Rambo
For one reason or another, a lot of developers have tried to turn classic games into endless runners recently. I noticed it first with Circus Atari (okay, so that one's more of an endless ascension game) and Pitfall!, but Zaxxon Escape is yet another fine example. It adheres to the (admittedly threadbare) canon of the original, but drops just about everything else. Arcade nuts, this is not the nostalgia boost you've been looking for.Keep On Poppin’ Review
By Nadia Oxford
When a circus monkey orders you to keep on poppin', it's in your best interest to listen. Keep on Poppin' is a Match-3 Facebook puzzle game that's not especially revolutionary, nor will you even be able to play it for long before you run out of "lives" and must recharge. That said, it's still an addicting experience—like popping bubble wrap. Also, there's a pretty cute monkey cheering you on, and that's certainly worth something.Super Bunny Breakout Preview
By Nadia Oxford
Before we had the likes of Angry Birds, we looked to Atari for our physics games. Breakout, which was released in 1976 for the arcades, taught games the joy of tearing down digital environments years before the Birds were even a gleam in their furious daddies' eyes. It looks like Atari still has a thing or two to teach us about ripping stuff up, so the company has teamed up with Zynga to produce Super Bunny Breakout, an iOS and Android re-imagining of its classic game.Nightmarium Review
By Mike Rose
It's quite fortunate, really, that the nasty creatures which live under our beds, in our walls, and generally skulk around in the darkness only come out at night. I'd much rather have them roaming about my house while I'm sleeping than getting in the way of the TV during the day.Buddha Finger Preview
By Emma Boyes
The best mobile games are simple but fiendishly addictive, and Buddha Finger is both -- the second with bells on. The first game from British indie developers Lady Shotgun, as the team say, "if you can you count to 10 then you're going to love playing this game!"Super Monsters Ate My Condo! Review
Super Monsters Ate My Condo is the follow-up to Adult Swim Games's slightly less super Monsters Ate My Condo from 2011. At a glance, the two games are nearly identical: both throw you into a frenetic twist on the match-3 genre, in which you need to connect same-colored condos in a constantly growing high-rise tower, mid-monster attack. Beyond these similarities, players are treated to a smorgasbord of new and delicious content.
