After Earth Review
Did you know that Will Smith summertime blockbusters have opened number 1 at the box office for something like, 75 years in a row? Yup, it's true. Even the dreadful Wild Wild West did well with moviegoers, but sadly, that streak has ended with the recent After Earth: an original story by Smith starring the man himself and his son, Jaden. The M. Night Shyamalan-directed vehicle—which has faced allegations of subtle Scientology propaganda— opened to low numbers recently, so is it really a surprise that the licensed iOS game would be similarly disappointing? Nope.
SlamBots Review
Quite honestly, I didn't "get" SlamBots at first. I booted up the game, bounced around for a while, died rather quickly, and wondered what the heck all of that was about. I tried again, and received essentially the same results. And then again, and again, and perhaps a few more times as well.

Mansion Run is a simple "endless runner" in which you play as a dapper skeleton named Bones Wellington, who must flee from a gang of ghosts while dodging haunted furniture and collecting the bones that are lying around his mansion. It'll put your reflexes to the test, but aside from a steady increase in obstacles and speed, what you see in the first 30 seconds of play is quite literally what - and all - you get.Combo Crew Review
Combo Crew is something of a love letter to the beat 'em ups and brawlers of the late 80's and early 90's, as the influence of games such as Double Dragon, Final Fight, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is clearly apparent. That said, Combo Crew doesn't simply copy the formula, but rather uses it as a starting point to make something unique and arguably better suited for the iPhone.
Quell Memento Review
Beautiful, surprising, challenging, and subtle, Quell Memento runs the player through a gauntlet of puzzles that range from elementary to devilish, but it's the game's emotional undercurrent that you'll ultimately remember. Snippets of exposition trickle out as you guide your rain drops through stages and memories. This is Braid as a marble maze.
Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe Review
Sometimes you play a game so simple yet so effective that it leaves you wondering why no one has done it before. Meet Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe, a sort of Tetris match-3 and platformer mash-up that gives as good as it gets. With twinges of Spelunky in there too, this fast-paced, quick-thinking blaster will kill you every few minutes, and yet you'll keep coming back for more. The soundtrack is sublime, the controls are spot-on, and the challenge is very, very real. What I'm saying is, you're going to love this game.
Hyper Breaker Turbo Review
Hyper Breaker Turbo is one of the most exciting brick-breaking arcade games out there. Actually, that sentence sounds a bit bland. This game deserves better. Hyper Breaker Turbo is Breakout injected with a proprietary blend of nitrous and the blood of a rampaging bull. It's fast, it's challenging, it's filled with awesome power-ups, and even though it's filled with failures and successes, it never gets frustrating.
