Chronicles of Mystery: Tree of Life Review
By Brandy Shaul
Chronicles of Mystery: Tree of Life is the sequel to Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual. After traveling all over Europe in the first game, Sylvie Leroux, a brilliant (but young) archaeologist is back again for another adventure, this time dealing with a series of mysteries ranging from an ancient chest belonging to Ponce de Leon that may have been responsible for a man's death, to the Tree of Life, which grants immortality. As Sylvie is tempted to learn more about these items, however, you'll likely be tempted to turn the game off due to its tedium.Edna & Harvey: The Breakout Preview
By Erin Bell
Daedalic Entertainment's quirky adventure game Edna & Harvey: The Breakout follows a young girl and her pet rabbit as they try to escape from the asylum. The game has been making the rounds in Europe, and it's finally getting a North American release thanks to Viva Media. The game is slated to launch Feb. 8, 2011.Blue Madonna: A Carol Reed Mystery Review
Carol Reed is back. It's been nearly a year since the amateur sleuth's last adventure, Black Circle, but she's hot on the trail of a new mystery in Blue Madonna. The game maintains the series' trademarks, including a photographic visual style and action free gameplay. This makes the narrative a huge part of the appeal for the game, but, unfortunately, Blue Madonna fails when it comes to presenting an engaging story. It starts out interesting enough, but quickly reveals itself to be nothing more than a plodding fetch quest.Miscrits: World of Adventure Review

By Alicia Ashby
Catch a Killer brings a lot of firsts to Facebook. It's one of the first major social games from MMORPG developer Sony Online Entertainment and one of the first social games to be heavily promoted based on the involvement of a celebrity author. Casual games are frequently based on popular novels and writers, though, and in many respects Catch a Killer feels like a casual game that's been taken online. While it has avatars, items, and energy-based tasks to complete, it's also heavy on mini-games and searches for hidden objects.Back to the Future: The Game, Episode 1 – It’s About Time! Review
By David Stone
One of the most unexpected franchises to be resurrected, Back to the Future was surprisingly turned into a new adventure from the folks at Telltale games (the studio behind Sam & Max and Wallace & Gromit). For fans of the films, Back to the Future: Episode 1 - It's About Time revs the fun factor all the way to 88 miles per hour. If you don't understand that sentence, don't try to play this game.Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time Review
