Way back in September 2015, Gaea Mobile released the hit mobile MOBA Ace of Arenas. Since then it’s received five major updates which have each expanded greatly on the experience.

If you played it back then and are thinking of coming back, we’ve broken down the list of new content into the three key new features in Ace of Arenas.

The new modes

1-5v5 3v3 ranked modes

If you’re the type of player that enjoys shaking it up with a variety of modes, then you’ll be pleased with the latest additions.

The leaderboard-focused players will enjoy 3v3, 5v5, and Ranked Modes which require a higher level of strategy than elsewhere allow you to show off your prowess.

If you’re just looking for a fun and fast-paced experience though, you’ll prefer the Fast and Furious Mode which includes super buffs and a bonus to your movement speed and lasts a mere 10 minutes.

Rounding it up is a Spectator Mode which is handy if you want to relax and watch a game or pick up some tactics.

Champions

You can shake up your playing style by checking out the new champions. The total count now stands at 54, and each of them has their own skins, abilities, and weapons to customise.

Social play

6-Clan system

There’s now greater incentive to play with your friends in multiplayer, as you can form a clan and earn rewards for completing tasks with them, like the Legacy Musaya Skin.

You can also use the new signalling system to communicate strategies to your friends quickly while in a battle.

Finally, you can use the new share button to share your goings on with your friends on social media.

Coming up

Ace of Arenas is far from finished though. There are more champions on the way as well as an eSports-style Pro League and tournaments for the competitive-minded players.

If that all sounds like a jolly good time, head on over to the App Store or Google Play right now to check it out.
