Virtual reality is now a reality. That is to say, it’s something on the market that you can buy. Right now. Maybe as a gift for a loved one, or for yourself (nobody deserves it more, right?).

The Gear VR, a headset created as part of a collaboration between Oculus and Samsung, can be ordered online for $199.99 USD. The Gear VR is powered by the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and isn’t compatible with any other smartphones or devices. So either get a Note 4 or get back to waiting for the Oculus Rift.

Tracking sensors help plunge you into 360-degree environment, making for some of the most immersive game experiences. You haven’t crushed candy until you’ve played Candy Crush Saga: In Your Face Edition.*

You can still use touch-based controls with the Gear VR, though Samsung recommends an Android-compatible controller for the smoothest possible playtime.
