Don’t get us wrong. There are definitely animals in Rodeo Stampede you won’t run into in the wild or even at a zoo, but until now, Featherweight Games and Yodo1 have kept things squarely within the realm of possibility as far as the base animal types go. The Jurassic Update changes that somewhat, as you might expect.

And honestly, who wouldn’t like the chance to lasso dinosaurs? Surely, nothing could possibly go wrong when you are riding on the back of a brontosaurus and trying to lasso a pterodactyl, right?

Yeah, probably nothing.

Of course you can’t find dinosaurs just roaming around free anywhere but Isla Nublar, so you’ll need a way to get to the past to dodge dinos, meteors and such. Luckily, your new Space Zoo has its own time portal, though you’ll need to wait for it to recharge before you can go gallivanting around roping thunder lizards.

Better still, if you’re new to Rodeo Stampede, you can still experience the thrills and dangers of the Jurassic period since you only need to get to the third level of the Jungle (the game’s first rodeo environment) before you unlock the Space Zoo. Expect to see more than just the usual dinosaurs too, given what we’ve seen the developers do with humorous versions of more common wildlife in the past.

And hey, if you haven’t started your exotic rodeo and floating zoo career yet, no worries. Rodeo Stampede is free to download from either the App Store or Google Play, no time portal or Space Zoo required.
