Adult Swim Games’ Peter Panic released earlier this year packed with mini-games, music, and earfuls of charm. What it was missing, however, was a conclusion. The Wario Ware-esque mobile musical ended abruptly with only a promise of Act II to keep Peter fans warm at night. This week, that promise has been kept with a free update for all players.

Act II concludes Peter’s tale of theater rescue and impromptu developer diddies while greatly expanding the world around him. Five new stages and 40 new mini-games have been added to the rotation of available challenges, along with (of course) tons more music. The star-studded cast has been expanded to include the vocal talents of Shakina Nayfack, Joel Perez, and soothing Bastion narrator Logan Cunningham, as well as a guest song from Crypt of the Necrodancer (and plenty more) composer Danny Baranowsky.

On top of all that, one of the new levels was developed by Deadly Premonition and D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die creator, SWERY, and he loves the game so much he reprised his bathtub promotional tour to tell players about it.

If a developer’s heartfelt bubble bath with a stuffed gorilla advertisement doesn’t make you want to play this game, then you probably definitely don’t want to play this game.

But if you do, both Acts are out now on iOS.

Jillian will play any game with cute characters or an isometric perspective, but her favorites are Fallout 3, Secret of Mana, and Harvest Moon. Her PC suffers from permanent cat-on-keyboard syndrome, which she blames for most deaths in Don’t Starve. She occasionally stops gaming long enough to eat waffles and rewatch Battlestar Galactica.
