WWDC is a weird time of year. If you’re a developer, there are plenty of cool new toys to play with and exciting announcements to dig into. If you’re a games fan… it can be pretty hit and miss.

The big announcement related to mobile gamers is a massively overhauled App Store coming in iOS 11 that should (hopefully) make it easier to find great things to play. But even more important — at least in the short term — is the announcement of Monument Valley 2. A game that was previously unknown, and is available starting RIGHT NOW.

The original Monument Valley is widely considered one of the finest games ever made for mobile devices. We considered it one of the best games of 2014. In a word, it’s essential.
