King has been quietly testing new games in select regions a fair bit this year, but much to our surprise, none of these new games had been presented to a worldwide audience quite yet. Today that changes with the launch of AlphaBetty Saga on the App Store and Google Play.
Starring the titular AlphaBetty and her crafty grandfather, AlphaBetty Saga is King’s take on word games. We first took a look at the game back in April and enjoyed our brief time with it. AlphaBetty Saga offers up a tight mix of wordplay and match-3-style falling blocks, mixing a genre they know well with one they’re trying for the first time.
There’s still no word on when King’s other soft-launch games (Paradise Bay, Splish Splash Saga) will get a wider audience, but if you want to test your spelling prowess, AlphaBetty Saga is a free download on the App Store and Google Play.
