Wendy’s Wellness Review
Wendy's Wellness, Fitness Frenzy, Fitness Dash... I'm sensing a new trend here. Are fitness games the new wave for the time management genre? Either way, Wendy's Wellness is a new health spa themed time management game that's a healthy addition to the line up.It's light on story, but the plot is well integrated into the game. You play as Wendy, a real health buff. After the last fitness center in her town closes down, she decides to open her own, with the help of her fitness fanatic uncle.Orchard Review
Real-time strategy games are all the rage lately. The same goes for agricultural simulations. Put the two together, and you often get promising results… see Youda Farmer, Farm Mania, Alice Greenfingers 2, and so on. Unfortunately for latest genre outing Orchard - which is equal parts time management title, tactical challenge and business sim - though, unless you've got hours to burn, the only harvest you'll reap here is in frustration and boredom.Youda Farmer Review
By Erin Bell
Youda Farmer has a lot going for it: above average graphics, realistic sound effects, and gameplay that puts a new twist on farm-themed time management games. There's one problem, though: unless you use a very specific strategy that involves lining up actions ahead of time, the pace will become hopelessly hectic by level six or so.The game's tutorial doesn't bother to explain this, which is a shame because a lot of frustrated people will no doube give up on the game prematurely. Once you've mastered the right technique, however, Youda Farmer is perfectly playable and definitely worth a look.Solitaire for Dummies Review
By David Stone
Ah, Solitaire. How many times have I wiled away the hours with you when I should have been working? I'm sure I'm not the only one with this illustrious past with the old Windows standby. But Solitaire for Dummies shows that there are many different ways to play the game.Similar to the other Dummies titles from Beanbag Studios, Solitaire for Dummies is an easy way to learn many versions of the game. And boy, are the a lot of ways to play. The game offers ten different modes: Klondike, Pyramid, Scorpion, Penguin, Free Cell, Canfield, Yukon, Monte Carlo, Accordion and Golf.Cooking Academy 2: World Cuisine Review
Looking to spice up your menu plan? Cooking Academy 2 is basically a huge collection of cooking-themed minigames that might actually give you some inspiration in the kitchen. It's not an original concept, but it's still fun to play.Farm Frenzy – Pizza Party Review
Farm Frenzy - Pizza Party is pretty much the same as Farm Frenzy 2. There are some noticeable improvements - trucks and planes can be upgraded, and the map is much more interesting. But although there are sone new products and buildings, it's the same layout and the same basic gameplay. If you liked the first two, you'll probably like this one. Just don't expect much to have changed down on the farm.Bubble Town Review
By David Stone
Previously released as Scrubbles to a lukewarm reception, re-engineered for mobile and Facebook where it became a cult classic, and now re-released as a download, Bubble Town is an expansion of marble popping classics like Bust-a-Move.When a developer makes a game that actually tries to do something different, it's nice when the attempt actually works out. Bubble Town is a a great example of what happens when almost everything goes right. The premise is the same: shoot a colored ball and make chains of three or more. Extra balls hanging off the chain are dropped and add bonuses. Try to clear the whole board before the balls drop below the line at the bottom of the screen.Fairy Island Review
In Fairy Island, pirates capture fairy friends and imprison them inside magical diamond stones known as tokens.Your job is to track down the pirates around Fairy Island to free the fairies in this match-three adventure that has four play modes and three game modes. Each play mode is a different variation of match-three, which keeps things fresh and alluring.Story Mode, of course, tells the story of your adventure and comes with two mini-games to uncover the island's secrets. Upon first play, only Normal play mode is unlocked with the others coming later. As you work your way around the island, you'll find pieces of the pirates' map to get you where you need to go.
