Pirates CSG Review
I have a secret: I really like collectible card games. I like the strategy, the lore behind the cards, the way they work together even after expansions, and I especially like getting together with friends. However, I really dislike building the decks, waiting on friends to get together, and spending the money to get the cards to make the right decks.
Alchemia Review
For a lonely shepherd in a normal world, seeing a mechanical bird seemingly preying on your flock must be a terrifying experience. It certainly was for the hero in Alchemia, which is why he killed it. But it turns out that even mechanical birds have souls. And so the hero and the bird set out on a quest to find a new body for its soul to inhabit in the wonderful web-based adventure Alchemia.
Free Realms Review
The approach of Free Realms - a casual massively-multiplayer online (MMO) game from Sony Online Entertainment, is a simple and familiar one: pack as much free content into as friendly-looking a package as possible and sell upgrades, unlocks and items for real money off the back of that initial experience. The obvious hope is that you'll become enamoured enough with the free portions of the game to pony up for advantages and privileges against other players, and Free Realms has plenty of content put aside for those who are prepared to pay.
R.I.F.T. Review
Everybody loves cake, and nowhere does this seem more apparent than in the world of video games. From Portal to Cake Mania to Rabbit Wants Cake and everything in between, well-frosted deliciousness clearly seems to be a good motivator for gamers. In R.I.F.T., the latest browser game from Blacksmith Games, you'll fill the shoes of a lowly robot that brings pretty pink cakes to his master in level after level of puzzle platforming goodness.

Today's parents have been accused of coddling their children too much, leading to a false sense of entitlement and self-satisfaction. Achievement Unlocked is a Web game that not only seems to poke fun at this dubious trend, but also at the obsession that certain gamers have with earning "achievements" - those special badges and trophies that are awarded for passing certain in-game milestones. To fend off potential feelings of inadequacy, Achievement Unlocked doles out a ridiculously high number of achievements for performing the most mundane and mindless of "tasks."
