Awakening: The Dreamless Castle Review
Who doesn't love a good 'damsel-in-distress-in-a-castle' story? Awakening: The Dreamless Castle borrows its storyline from a variety of classic fairytales such as Sleeping Beauty, Snow White (dwarves are replaced with goblins), and Rapunzel. So, if you enjoy exploring medieval castles, solving perplexing puzzles, perusing richly drawn scenes and reading a classic fairytale story, this is a game you'll want to check out.
Mole Control Review
When you live in a city named Molar Creek, you really should be shocked to find out the town has a bit of a mole problem. Well, a mole problem or a dental college. Molar Creek is simply overrun with them (moles, not dental colleges) and it's up to you to suck each and every one of them out of the ground with a mole-sucking machine like a mechanical Carl Speckler.
B.C. Bow Contest Review
Exciting as they might be in the movies, put a weapon in most people's hands and it's fairly likely that they'll have no idea what to do with it. How to hold it, how to aim properly, even how to fire - the whole thing is a mystery to the majority of us, only those who have actually fired out in the field able to hold back the shakes. B.C. Bow Contest's weaponry, though not especially glamorous, is equally difficult to master, play here seeing you take control of a cave man as he attempts to fire a series of arrows towards a collection of targets - some moving, some not.
Secret Mission: The Forgotten Island Review
It's a familiar story: someone flies through the Bermuda triangle and ends up getting stranded on a seemingly deserted island. Pretty standard stuff as far as hidden object games go. And that's probably the best word to describe Secret Mission: The Forgotten Island: standard. It doesn't do much to differentiate itself from all of the other adventure/HOGs out there, but it's a solid package that plays it safe and is fun while it lasts. Just don't expect to be blown away.
Super Granny 5 Review
When most grannies grow to the ripe old age where their momentum slows dramatically, their days tend to be filled with more relaxing pursuits like reading, playing cards, socializing, and napping. Not Super Granny. She gets to battle the forces of evil with blowtorches, jackhammers, and lethal handbags in order to round up her perpetually missing feline companions. Though it's much like past games in the series, Super Granny 5 continues Sandlot Games' fine tradition of lighthearted elderly empowerment and frantic platforming puzzle action.
Travels With Gulliver Review
Most book clubs reading Gulliver's Travels will probably meet at someone's house to discuss the book and enjoy a coffee and scone. Sedona and the members of her book club on the other hand board a luxury yacht and travel the globe tracing Gulliver's footsteps while discussing the book (perhaps also enjoying a scone) in the match-3 puzzle game Travels with Gulliver.
Jewel Charm Review
Call forth the kingdom's jewelers! On the eve of the royal wedding, a fire-breathing dragon has attacked the castle and stolen the crown jewels! The king's brave knights were able to wound the beast and drive it back to its lair, but in its flight the dragon dropped the stolen treasure, smashing the jewels and scattering them across the land. No royal couple can be wed without the crown jewels, so you have been chosen by the king to find the pieces and restore the jewelry so the prince and princess can have their fairytale ending.
