Eternity Review
If you're a fan of hidden object games, chances are good that you've come to view hints as a last resort to get you through a particularly frustrating part of the game, be it that one object you just can't seem to find or a puzzle that you can't quite crack. In Eternity, however, using hints is a necessity because without them, you'll frequently find yourself dumbfounded as to what you're supposed to do next.Little Noir Stories: The Case of the Missing Girl Review
Within every hard-boiled detective beats a warm and sentimental heart, which is why Anton Muller is following up on strange note he found in Little Noir Stories: The Case of the Missing Girl. A single photograph with a shadowy figure in a window isn't much to go on, but what Anton lacks in leads he makes up for in determination, instinct, and sheer bullheadedness.Life Quest Review
If you took a life simulation, a la The Sims, and dropped it into a blender with a copy of a time management game, such as Diner Dash, you'd end up with Life Quest, the latest from Big Fish Games that proves to be a charming (but not challenging) digital diversion for your mouse-clicking finger.Cruise Clues: Caribbean Adventure Review
Most recent hidden object games have tried to switch up the formula a bit, adding new twists and features to the well-worn genre. But that's not the case with Cruise Clues: Caribbean Adventure, which is instead about as straightforward as a HOG can get. It's a strictly linear experience, with an underdeveloped story and a few generic mini-games holding it all together.Journalist Journey: The Eye of Odin Review
By Andy Chalk
It may seem odd to be critical of a hidden object game because of its plot. They are, after all, about finding hidden objects, solving puzzles and unraveling mysteries, all while remaining unflaggingly feisty in the face of daunting odds. In that regard, Journalist Journey: The Eye of Odin does a good job. But I have never, in any hidden object game I've ever played, run into anything so mind-bogglingly incoherent as this. How much of a problem that is depends entirely on what you hope to get out of it.Mystery Cruise Review
By Chad Sapieha
If you received a letter in the mail informing you that you had won a free cruise, would you crumple it up and toss it or immediately pack your bags and head for the dock? Our protagonist in Alawar Entertainment's new hidden object game Mystery Cruise does the latter, and without even so much as a momentary furrowed brow. It's not only a portent of her astounding gullibility, but also an indication of how little respect the game's developers seem to have for their audience's intellect.Deadtime Stories Review
Hidden object fans with a fear of all things creepy are going to find themselves forced to make a tough choice. Deadtime Stories is a marvelous, challenging stunner of a game, but its voodoo-rich story is almost sure to send a chill down your spine. Do not expect to hear Jessie Bodeen's tale and emerge unscathed.Ranch Rush 2 Review
Even for those who love what they do, everyone needs a break from the daily grind of work now and then. If a tropical getaway sounds like a blast right now, you're not alone. After getting her hands dirty building up a bustling farmer's market from scratch in order to save the ailing flower nursery she works in Ranch Rush, Sara sets her sights on some fun in the sun. Though her island getaway in Ranch Rush 2 isn't entirely a work-free vacation, a trip to warmer climates brings with it some excellent new opportunities for fun in this highly enjoyable sequel.
