King’s Legacy Review
By Erin Bell
After the king dies and his evil brother usurps the throne, the prince (you) sets out to get his kingdom back and take his rightful place as king in King's Legacy, a new building/sim game from Cateia Games that borrows heavily from the studio's previous title Shaman Odyssey.Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials Review
It's hard to think of a more spooky setting than 17th century Salem, Massachusetts, site of the infamous Salem witch trials. But when the entire town is made up of creepy ghosts, well, the spooky factor goes up quite a bit. InMidnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials, a new hidden object game from Mumbo Jumbo and the sequel to Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allen Poe Conspiracy, you'll once again be tasked with going back in time and investigating a mysterious death and the sequel offers up more of what made the first game so enjoyable, while at the same time fixing some of its issues.Dale Hardshovel and the Bloomstone Mystery Review
By Andrew Groen
Dale Hardshovel and the Bloomstone Mystery isn't going to be winning any awards for originality. It's Egyptian theme is already very well-trodden, and certainly its match-2 block moving mechanic tears a page from many different books. Even the titular Dale Hardshovel himself is a cliché himself. Though it should be noted that the Aussie-archaeologist is occasionally hilarious, if only unintentionally.World Mosaics 3: Fairy Tales Review
By Erin Bell
If you didn't get your fill of "picross"-style puzzles in the first two World Mosaics games, there's plenty more where that came from in World Mosaics 3: Fairy Tales.Flux Family Secrets: The Rabbit Hole Review
When we last left Jessie, the time-travelling heroine of the Flux Family Secrets series, she was stuck in the 1980's, unable to return to the present day. And The Rabbit Hole picks up right where the first game in the series left off, further fleshing out the mystery of the Flux family while offering up a enjoyable blend of hidden object and adventure game.Puzzler World Review
By Mark Raby
With more than 500 puzzles, a very colorful and inviting interface, and a reward system that offers unlockable games, Puzzler World is an enjoyable collection of easy-to-play pick-up-and-go mini-games. From classic puzzles like Sudoku and word search to more unique games like "Link-A-Pix," there is something here to suit a variety of different gaming tastes.Mysterious Travel: The Magic Diary Review
By Andy Chalk
There's something to be said for simplicity. Sometimes you don't want to think about characters or try to follow a plot or worry about what to do next; you just want to sit down, stare at a screen and try to find some stuff. And even though it's rough around the edges, there are worse things you could do when those moments strike than spend some time with Mysterious Travel: The Magic Diary, a new hidden object game that generates mystery by tossing the story out the window.Date Warp Review
By Erin Bell
Janet leaves her school dorm one evening for a date and never returns. What happened to her? In Date Warp, the newest visual novel from Fatal Hearts developer Hanako Games, you'll get to decide Janet's fate as the choices you make will influence how the story unfolds.
