Redrum: Time Lies Review
By Andy Chalk
Most hidden object games, even those that deal with the dark subject of murder, tend to do so with a relatively light touch. Players are told more than they're shown, and they're rarely told much: Someone has died and it's up to you to save the day. Not so with Redrum: Time Lies, the follow-up to the 2008 release Redrum. Graphic and disturbing is the name of this game, and you'll definitely want to make sure the kids are out of the room before you jump in.Ski Resort Mogul Review
By David Becker
The Mogul series by Alawar games is back with its third installment, Ski Resort Mogul. You'll still deal with the hotel business, but you'll follow a new heroine in a setting that's different from predecessors Hotel Mogul and Vacation Mogul. The good news: this series definitely continues to improve and makes for an entertaining gaming experience.Biggest Little Adventure Review
By Jon Mundy
Don't you just hate it when you're signing for a delivery and the courier spontaneously shrinks to the size of a coffee mug? Okay, it's not such a common occurrence, but it's one faced by New Yorker Ruby Benson at the beginning of Biggest Little Adventure. Being the conscientious, well bred 1920s gal that she is, she decides to help the poor shrinkee by embarking on a globe spanning journey to find the cure.Exorcist Review
The latest entry in the horror-themed hidden object game genre is Exorcist, the tale of a cat and mouse game between Garet, who has devoted his life to cleansing the world, and Mephisto, the elusive entity who may be a man, a demon, or a bit of both. It's an uneven experience: For everything that the game gets right - which is a lot - it unfortunately seems to get something doubly wrong.Academagia: The Making of Mages Review
Ever since Harry Potter first entered the cultural consciousness, there have been more than a few people who have imagined just what it might be like to actually go to a wizarding school like Hogwarts. And with Academagia, now they finally have that chance. While the game moves slowly and features an almost overwhelming amount of content, if you give it the time, it will absolutely absorb you.Puzzle Quest 2 Review
By Erin Bell
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords was a groundbreaking blend of gem-swapping and role-playing, where you played a heroic adventurer who battled baddies via match-3 showdowns. Puzzle Quest 2, retains the fantasy setting but slims the gameplay down quite substantially. Whether or not you think it's an improvement depends on whether you prefer the epic RPG feel of Puzzle Quest or the lighter hack n' slash vibe of its sequel.Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate Review
In Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate, everyone's favorite archaeologist is off on a new adventure, this time hunting down different life-extending waters around the world. If you're already a fan of the series, stop reading and get to playing; if you've never played a Samantha Swift game, now's the time to start. Fountains of Fate may just be the best Samantha Swift game yet.World Riddles: Seven Wonders Review
By Mike Rose
If you've been meaning to check out the puzzle game Picross for a while, then here is an excellent place to start. World Riddles: Seven Wonders eases players into the grid-clicking action with a steady difficulty curve, various other minigames to break up the action, and smooth polished gameplay. Certain elements can be a little dull, but overall there's plenty here to enjoy.
