The A.Typical RPG Review
By Alicia Ashby
A.Typical RPG sounds like a lot of fun when you read about it. The game's premise is very Groundhog Day, letting you control a typical college student through one day of his largely mundane life. In the course of that day you will play soccer with bullies, wander around town, attempt to woo a lovely girl, and try to pass an exam. The game promises that it will make these mundane tasks feel epic through gameplay, an ambition that's never really realized. Instead A.Typical RPG is a funny game hampered by design flaws.Cargo! – The Quest for Gravity Review
By Mike Rose
Trying to explain what Cargo! :The Quest for Gravity is all about is most likely on a par with trying to define the meaning of life. Nothing about this game makes even an ounce of sense, and it's the kind of experience that you will not forget in a good long while. Put simply, Cargo! is quite easily the craziest games we've ever played.Planet Stronghold Review
By Alicia Ashby
It's hard not to think of BioWare's Mass Effect series of console and PC RPGs when you first begin playing Planet Stronghold. A lot of the defining features of Mass Effect are present in Planet Stronghold, if in a simplified form: you can date many of the game's characters, you can select your main character's class and gender, and you can select your responses in dialog at many different points in the story. Planet Stronghold is obviously a much simpler game than Mass Effect, but it holds up surprisingly well to the comparison.Mystery Chronicles: Betrayals of Love Review
By Darcie King
Mystery Chronicles: Betrayals of Love opens with the murder of a countess and the arrest of a fisherman who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. You are summoned to the scene of the crime when the local police cannot find any leads. You will need to investigate the crime scene, question suspects, and uncover the events that led up to the death of the countess and the apparent disappearance of her husband the count. Along the way, you'll uncover a tale of betrayal and loss.HECTOR: Badge of Carnage Ep1 Review
By Andy Chalk
Consider yourself warned: Detective Inspector Hector is not the gruff softie you might expect, the tough-talking cop with a heart of gold we've all grown used to seeing on network television. He's rude, foul-mouthed, angry, corrupt, hates just about everything and everyone with equal intensity, and he's most definitely not family-friendly. But if you're an adventure fan with a taste for off-color humor and bizarre British slang, you might just find his antics in Hector: Badge of Carnage amusing enough to be worth a look.Snuggle Truck Review
Snuggle Truck is an absolutely adorable, albeit frustrating physics-based game for the mobile platform. As the unseen driver of an old truck, your goal in life is to transport tiny, fluff-filled animals into a zoo where they can be assured of a controlled standard of living. I'm not really sure how all that works, but it's a game that has rocket-powered trucks, so I'd assume logic isn't a priority here.Dream Chronicles: The Book of Water Review
Since 2007, Dream Chronicles has evolved into one of the most successful casual game franchises in existence and no wonder. Considering the brief history of the casual game genre, the series' four year history makes it downright venerable. The sixth installment in the saga continues the story begun in Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air but alas, fails to maintain the first title's standards of quality and invention. The Tiny Bang Story Review
By Mike Rose
While it was the Big Bang that created our universe, it took just a Tiny Bang to create a stunningly magical gaming experience. The Tiny Bang Story is a carefully crafted concoction of hidden item finding and puzzle-solving sown into a beautiful hand-drawn world of make-believe, and you'll want to scour every nook and cranny to reap as much enjoyment as possible.
