Skylanders Lost Islands Review
By Nadia Oxford
The Skylanders series is currently one of Activision's most popular and lucrative properties, and it's really not hard to see why - especially if you have kids. There's something irresistible about pairing up video games with collectable plastic toys, especially if said toyline contains a healthy smattering of dragons. But more importantly, Skylanders' toys can "come to life" in multiple games across the series' universe, a feature that really sells Skylanders Lost Islands for iOS.Dragon Skies Review
By Jim Squires
I never thought "dragon-raising" would be a term that would ever use to describe a well-established genre, but 14 months and a zillion games after the release of Backflip's DragonVale, it's become pretty clear that dragon games aren't going away anytime soon. Most dragon-raising games suffer from the same problem - or more aptly, the problem of being too much the same. Does Dragon Skies burn through this stagnant tradition with all the fire and fury dragons are known for?Grub Guardian Review
By Nick Tylwalk
Sure, Wizard101 is fun, and the pets your wizard collects can be helpful. But sometimes, you just want those little guys to stop following you around and do something even more useful - like guard dinner. Sounds strange, but it's more or less the gist of Grub Guardian, a tower defense game that can be played in web browsers and iOS devices as a standalone game or a supplement to KingsIsle's popular all ages MMORPG.My Little Pony – Friendship is Magic Review
By Nadia Oxford
If the Internet had a coat of arms, its supporting animals would be a rampant cat and a rearing, candy-colored pony. Despite the show's, er, varied fanbase (it's a huge hit with teen and adult males), the My Little Pony mobile game is seemingly engineered for younger players—though the high cost of in-game items indicates that Gameloft knew that older players with disposable income are going to dive into this game like Pinkie Pie into a triple-layer strawberry shortcake.Weird Park: Scary Tales Review
By John Anthony
It's time for another dose of psychotic circus performers! Weird Park: Scary Tales is a sequel to Weird Park: Broken Tune, continuing the tradition of crazy locations and straightforward hidden object gameplay. After crashing your car outside of an abandoned town, you learn that mad Louis the Clown has trapped several children inside twisted versions of classic fairy tales. And you know what? The only person who can rescue them is you!Chaos on Deponia Review
When we last left our hero, Rufus, he was attempting to flee the trash-ridden planet in pursuit of his newly met dream girl, Goal. Without spoiling Deponia, things were moderately wrapped up, and Rufus seemed to be leaving the conclusion in the hands of fate. Seemed to be. When Chaos on Deponia, begins, Rufus is back in action and rocketing himself toward the upper land, and Goal's home, Elysium, but things take an unsurprising turn for the worse.FreeSkate Xtreme Review
By David Oxford
FreeSkate Xtreme is the latest in the 3D endless runner genre-- or at least it would be if you were running. Instead, you and your bad-boy (or girl) virtual self are skating and grinding your way down a long stretch of road which is filled with numerous blockades, shipping crates, traffic cones, and more, yet on which pedestrians drive their cars anyway.Knightly Adventure Review
By Rob Rich
It seems like ever since FarmVille burst onto the social gaming scene, everyone has been trying to copy it. Well, not everyone, but a lot of people. Freemium time-gated farming "sims" have practically become their own genre at this point, and now there's one more name to add to the ever-growing list. A game that's more than a rehash, but still not exactly groundbreaking: Knightly Adventure.
