    There's a huge market on virtually all platforms for nostalgic retro RPGs that emulate the look and feel of Super Nintendo classics like Final Fantasy II (called IV, these days). Kemco Games's Symphony of Eternity is trying to bring that sort of gameplay to Android handsets and almost succeeds. The actual game content for Symphony of Eternity is completely fine, if a bit on the predictable side and at times poorly-localized. Symphon of Eternity's downfall is in its technical implementation, where bugs can render the game unplayable on some handsets.

    Man it's gotta be fun to be someone who comes up with ideas for a game. I swear they must have dozens of dart boards all over an office, and coffee mugs full of darts to just pick up and throw in any direction on a whim. I mean, how else do you get to place where your protagonist is a gorilla riding a ski gondola through outer space? The folks over at Electric Pixel Factory must have had a blast the day they came up with that exact situation for their debut game Gorilla Gondola.

    Even by sports management game standards Top Eleven is a slow burn. You can't jump right into the action and start winning games. You can't just go out and buy the best player you can find. Instead, you'll have to adhere to a real-world schedule and carefully manage your finances. It may not sound like a lot of fun, but if you're interested in the nitty gritty of running a soccer club, there are few better choices than Top Eleven.

Toki Tori 2 is being developed from the ground up and will release initially through Steam for PC and Mac, with additional devices to follow.

    Last week, Facebook unveiled a major update to its mobile site. Along with all of the visual changes came some pretty big news for gamers: Facebook users could now play HTML5-based games on Facebook using their mobile phone.     Triple Town was one of the few games to launch on Amazon's Kindle eReader, but more recently the match-3 game has been making waves on social networks, with more than 150,000 people playing the Facebook version of the game. With the burgeoning success of the game, as well as a number of other projects currently under way, the development duo at Spry Fox is clearly rather busy. But Spry Fox's David Edery took some time out to talk to Gamezebo about the company and how Triple Town will continue to grow in the future.

    It seems like odd timing, but Making Fun is getting a jump on the Christmas season with the release of Santa's Village. A free-to-play business simulation type of game, it tasks players with building out a new North Pole village for Santa and his elves as they attempt to prepare a slew of toys for the winter holiday. The only problems are some nasty, purple Grumpkins that are seeking to ruin the fun.
