The folks at Telltale Games are already toiling away on the rest of the episodic The Wolf Among Us, as well as the upcoming and highly anticipated The Walking Dead - Season Two. But now reports are suggesting that the acclaimed adventure game developer has a third secret title hidden up their sleeves - and in true Telltale fashion, it's going to be based upon one of the most successful and popular franchises to emerge in the last several years.IGN has reportedly learned from "multiple sources" that Telltale is currently in the midst of making a new adventure game series based on George R. R. Martin's epic fantasy series A Song of Fire and Ice, and the accompanying HBO TV show, Game of Thrones. However, the identities of these sources and the means through which this news has surfaced were curiously absent from the initial report, so we're just going to have to leave it up to pure speculation at this point."Of course, Telltale has yet to officially confirm the existence of such a game right now, and as a result, we have no additional details to give you as to the game's artwork, the story, or just how it's all going to fit into Martin's already well-established realm. Well if this news is true, then let's just hope the finished product ends up being just as good as this year's engrossing Facebook take on Game of Thrones, Game of Thrones Ascent. So do you think there's any truth to this rumor about Telltale working on a Game of Thrones-inspired game? And more importantly, would you want to play it? Could Telltale possibly be spreading themselves too thin by tackling all of these awesome new projects at the very same time? Be sure to let us know your thoughts and speculate with us down in the replies!

When OpenFeint founder Jason Citron started a new games company called Hammer & Chisel in 2012, many fans have been eagerly looking forward to the exciting projects that were sure to come. Well today Citron has announced that he has received a whopping $8.2 million in funding to go towards Hammer & Chisel as they toil away on their upcoming MOBA mobile game, Fates Forever. But the really interesting thing about this news is that a piece of the $8.2 million funding is coming from none other than Benchmark Capital Partner Mitch Lasky. Now if that name sounds a bit familiar to you, that's because Lasky was also the number one investor in Riot Games, the studio behind a little game called League of Legends. In addition to the substantial investment, Lasky will also be joining the board of directors at Hammer & Chisel, as Citron and company forge ahead with their new game.Fates Forever, the new game in question, is looking to take the AAA hardcore MOBA experience made famous by games like League of Legends and redefine it in a tablet-only atmosphere. Citron is looking to reinterpret the traditional mouse and keyboard control strokes into simple touchscreen gestures that will be both familiar and easily accessible to mobile users. Well one thing's for sure after watching the debut gameplay trailer of Fates Forever in action: this is certainly not your typical casual tablet game right here, and it looks like that $8.2 million is going to be put to good use.
I've really got to hand it to all of the characters that we play as in our favorite mobile games: it takes some serious energy and stamina to do the things they do along their respective adventures! I mean, I get exhausted just sitting here each day and writing about video games. I couldn't imagine how tired I would be if I was the one actually performing all of the actions inside of a mobile game myself! So I hope everyone took a power nap this afternoon, because you're going to need all of the energy you can muster to take on tonight's new batch of action-packed mobile experiences! To start with, you'll be hopping across entire planets and galaxies to rescue some space chicks in serious distress, before heading back down to earth to show off your skills on a skateboard and the soccer field. And then before you finally call it a night, you'll want to call up a few of your friends and challenge them to a riveting iOS version of a fan favorite tabletop board game.
If you happen to be the proud owner of a smartphone or tablet device, then there's a pretty good chance that you've already played Fireproof Games' eerily fantastic puzzler The Room, with its beautifully dynamic graphics, its head-scratching puzzles, and of course, its enigmatic atmosphere. No other details about the game were revealed in the official announcement on the Fireproof Games Facebook page, but given the sheer amount of mystery surrounding this series, I can't really say that anyone should be all that surprised."Will you be picking up The Room Two for your iPad in a few short weeks? That's a silly question, of course you are. Sorry, I'm not as good at being mysterious as the folks at Fireproof Games. But be sure to let us know your thoughts on the upcoming sure-to-be fantastic sequel in the replies!
Everyone in the games industry assumes that it's inevitable that online gambling will be made legal. It's not a question of if, but of when.Online gambling has already been made legal in New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware. About the only thing that could turn the tide would be if a megalomaniac with a history of throwing hundreds of millions of dollars into political action campaigns decided he was against making online gambling legal.Enter Sheldon Adelson.
