By Nadia Oxford
6waves Lolapps has officially snipped off its "Lolapps" tail, and now it's simply "6waves." Even though the entirety of 6waves' internal development team is gone, the studio still has big plans for the remaining three quarters of 2012.Kickstarter Picks – lil’ Sherman

Everybody should own at least one tank. They're good for getting through traffic jams, intimidating idiot drivers, and clearing moose off the road at northern latitudes. Unfortunately, THE MAN says you can't physically own a tank, but Floppy Entertainment might have the next best thing: an idea for a tank-based game called lil' Sherman.Replay Wednesdays: Mystery Case Files: 13th Skull, Temple Run, and more!

By Jim Squires
If I had just sold 10 million copies of Angry Birds Space in just three days, I'd probably want to buy myself something nice to celebrate. Rovio seems to agree with my thinking, as they've just announced the acquisition of Futuremark Games Studio, the gaming division of the popular PC benchmarking software company Futuremark.Gamerizon announces Chop Chop Ninja animated series [interview]
By Jim Squires
The annual Game Developer's Conference took place in San Francisco earlier this month, and as always, dished up a whirlwind of game announcements and other exciting news. One studio that happened to be on hand was Montreal's Gamerizon, better known as the team behind the popular Chop Chop series. They were there to show off their upcoming sequel Chop Chop Ninja World, but while chatting with Gamezebo, there was another announcement they were keen to let us in on. As it turns out, a Chop Chop Ninja cartoon series is in the works for the Canadian cartoon network Teletoon.Temple Run turns, jumps, and slides onto Android

It's been a long wait for Android users, but after months of wading through phony apps claiming to be Temple Run, the real deal has finally arrived. As of this morning, Imangi Studios' Indiana Jones-meets-Canabalt endless runner is available as a free download on Google Play.Angry Birds Space sees ten million downloads in three days
By Nadia Oxford
Peter Griffin suggested it, and now Rovio has confirmed it: the Bird is the Word. In a mere three days following its release on March 22, Angry Birds Space, the latest entry in the highly popular (and highly lucrative) physics puzzle series, reached ten million downloads. That's a whole lot of furious flying fowl, but what comes next for Rovio's rock stars?Angry Birds Space launches everywhere on Planet Earth except Windows Phone, Nokia
By Joel Brodie
Rovio, where's your Finnish pride?! As reported by Bloomberg, the new Angry Birds Space is available for download on the PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. But not on Windows Phone platform. Which is a blow to Nokia, who is betting the house that creating handsets with Windows Phone as its operating system will get them back in the smart phone game.Apparently, Rovio and Nokia are headquartered in the same office park in Espoo, Finland, just a slingshot away (ha ha). So, it's not like they don't know each other.
