A lot can happen in a year. New games come and go, development studios and publishers are formed and shuttered, and people leave our lives forever. PC/Mac portal GamersGate has announced plans to expand its global team by opening a new office in New York in early 2012. The announcement comes on the heels of a successful fiscal year for the digital portal, which saw 50% sales growth in 2011. Void, GamersGate's ad-supported free games platform, is set to launch in 2012 as well.
