Rovio acquires fellow Finns Futuremark Games Studio
If I had just sold 10 million copies of Angry Birds Space in just three days, I'd probably want to buy myself something nice to celebrate. Rovio seems to agree with my thinking, as they've just announced the acquisition of Futuremark Games Studio, the gaming division of the popular PC benchmarking software company Futuremark.

Atomic Chimp has started a Kickstarter in hopes of funding its multi-genre fantasy game, Feeble's Fable. With a little luck and some generosity, Feeble's Fable will give us the magic, monsters, and heroism we crave--but not the vitamin D. You're on your own for that one.
Angry Birds Space launches everywhere on Planet Earth except Windows Phone, Nokia
Rovio, where's your Finnish pride?! As reported by Bloomberg, the new Angry Birds Space is available for download on the PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. But not on Windows Phone platform. Which is a blow to Nokia, who is betting the house that creating handsets with Windows Phone as its operating system will get them back in the smart phone game.Apparently, Rovio and Nokia are headquartered in the same office park in Espoo, Finland, just a slingshot away (ha ha). So, it's not like they don't know each other.

Chances are, if you're not currently in junior high or high school then you likely don't know about Habbo. Ask a teenage relative about it though, and you might just discover that it's one of the fastest-growing social networking platforms out there for young people. Now the platform is going to get even more exciting as we've learned that Habbo will begin welcoming social games to the service.
