By Jim Squires
We cover plenty of new games here at Gamezebo every week, but the number of games we've already covered that show up on new platforms? It's staggering. Starting this Wednesday and continuing every week, we'll be rounding up the games that aren't quite new, but might be new to you depending on your platform of choice.Duels of the Planeswalker 2013 gets release date, still lacks customization?
By Eli Cymet
When we previewed Magic the Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalker 2013 (cue deep intake of breath), we gushed about the series' long awaited arrival on iPad, and encouraged new players to give the series - and card game - a chance whenever the game's then-mysterious release date arrived. Well wait for your wait no more! Duels of the Planeswalker 2013 hits virtual shelves June 20th, so you can begin your wait without delay. Don't say we never get you anything nice!Curiosity killed the app? Peter Molyneux reveals first independent project
By Eli Cymet
Since his friendly defection from Microsoft Studios, video game industry legend Peter Molyneux has kept onlookers wondering what would come of his independent venture 22 Cans. For many, if only because the developer's grandiose vision and promises have become the stuff of legend (and parody). Thankfully, Molyneux is never one to disappoint during a big event, and yesterday announced Curiosity: 22 Cans' first app. Or experiment. Appsperiment?Gaming’s New Challengers: Samsung and LG bet big on cloud play

The dust has settled on Day 1 of the E3 show floor and on each of the big console players' presentations. Gaming websites are ablaze with debate. Who "won" the perennial contest for most impressive slate of titles? Was Nintendo's press conference rife with awkward dialogue (okay, there's not debate on that last one)? Hidden amid the usual chatter, however, are the announcements of a couple new players looking to make a splash in the industry. And by the way: they make phones and TVs.5 things that didn’t happen at Microsoft’s E3 press event (but should have)
By Jim Squires
E3 week kicked off earlier today with the annual Microsoft press conference, though if we're being frank, it didn't really set a great tone for the next year in video games. Maybe I'm just getting old, but everything they showed felt like more of the same. More Halo, more Gears of War, more Fable - more… well, everything.A Capital Idea: Ottawa Game Conference showcases talent, excitement
By Jim Squires
When people think of gaming conferences, they tend to think of events like GDC, WWDC, or Casual Connect. Canada, it would seem, is the furthest thing from their minds. In fact, with the exception of the Montreal International Games Summit (and the somewhat smaller DIG conference in London Ontario), there really isn't a single annual show where Canadian developers can get together to discuss their craft. Earlier this week, the number of great Canadian game conferences just grew by one, with the debut of the Ottawa Game Conference.Humble Bundle V game creators take to Reddit to answer fan questions
By Eli Cymet
If yesterday's arrival of Humble Bundle V wasn't already awesome enough, today brings with it yet more indie goodness. In a gesture of social (and promotional) goodwill, representatives from each of the teams responsible for the games being sold (at any price you choose!) have taken to Reddit to participate in an "IAmA:" a thread dedicated to answering questions from the perspective of your profession. We're seriously living in the future.Newest Humble Bundle will blow your brain box with awesome!
By Eli Cymet
Since its inception, the Humble Bundle has increasingly become the hub for the "who's who" of indie gaming, offering oodles of great games for a set-your-own-price point you just can't resist. And personally, during the release of Humble Bundle IV, I thought it couldn't get any better (I mean, come on, Bit.Trip Runner and Machinarium!?). How foolish of me. How very, very foolish.
