Surface: Mystery of Another World Review
You've likely heard the myth that claims that every person has a twin somewhere in the world. In Surface: Mystery of Another World, this ends up being true, at least in the case of parallel universes. You'll play as the mother of a young boy named Bobby that has been kidnapped along with Bobby's "long-lost" twin. You'll need to question even your own reflection as you play through this spooky adventure, as you'll work to save Bobby and return to your own reality.
Big City Adventure: London Story Review
Take a trip to London in Big City Adventure: London Story. The game begins in the Egyptian wing of the British Museum. You arrive just in time to interrupt a possible theft. The thief escapes, but not before they drop a note that will send you on a hunt all around London, looking for the hidden treasure of Fitzpatrick McGovern. Along the way you will be solving puzzles, searching through hidden object scenes, and helping out a variety of different characters.
Fortune Summoners Review
Fortune Summoners looks like it has everything it needs to be the perfect homage to old-school action RPGs. It's got adorable characters, stellar production values, and starts out with a promising story. So how do things become so mediocre so quickly? The answer, it turns out, is a little complicated.
AVSEQ Review
You know how in a rhythm based game like Rez, Lumines or Patapon, everything you do or interact with adds to the music of the action? Whether it's a drum beat or riff or whatever. it all just builds and builds until you're playing this fantastically organic song just by playing the game? It's quite euphoric when it all comes together and you feel like you're honest to god creating music. Yea, I love that feeling. AVSEQ doesn't have any of that.
Oil Rush Review
Hybrid game genres can sometimes be obvious, but for the most part, the ones that stick out the most are those that you never really considered before. For some reason, combining real time strategy and tower defense never crossed my mind. Luckily the Russian team Unigine Corp were wearing their thinking hats on the day they came up with Oil Rush, which is billed to combine the two genres. It's no secret that I'm a big tower defense fan, but I've always found RTS games a little much to wrap my head around, despite trying many different times. Either way the split happens, there's never any doubt that Oil Rush is a strategy game through and through.
Gemaica Review
You'd think that any game about pirates would automatically be fun. Generally, it's true: pirates make things at least a little bit more enjoyable, even if they're not always great. However, Gemaica manages to prove the exception to this rule. The game just never really manages to hit the right note, and all the pirates in the world can't make up for that.

Zombies, eh? Whoever invented them must be rolling in royalties right now. These resilient, ambling monsters have featured in every form of entertainment under the sun, and especially in video games. It's not very often, however, that zombies are coupled with humor.

In this fourth installment in the Midnight Mysteries series, things take a magical twist, as the ghost of Harry Houdini's widow Bess comes to you for help in reuniting her spirit with that of her lost love. A plan to reunite via séance (what would have been Houdini's ultimate trick - his spirit surviving after death) was spoiled by those also associated with Houdini's death. In Midnight Mysteries: Haunted Houdini, you'll solve the mysteries associated with Houdini's death, and find the culprit(s) ultimately responsible.
