Semple and Green both have pretty impressive resumes. Semple in the past worked on titles like Diablo III, Plants vs. Zombies, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Green, who worked on Diablo III and Plants vs. Zombies alongside Semple, also did work on Spore.

As Edge points out, this is only the second acquisition for Valve, the first one being Turtle Rock back in 2008. Considering that, it’s hard to imagine the company doesn’t have a crystal clear idea of what they want Star Filled Studios to do for them. Craft more virtual hats, maybe? Only time will tell.
