    I thought I could do it. It had been a while since I had fallen off the wagon. All the devices in my house were purged of Triple Town, and I hadn't been caught in public screaming about "ninja bears" for quite some time. So when Spry Fox released their newest game, Leap Day, in a browser beta, you have to believe me when I say that I genuinely thought I could just take a quick look…so you'll lend me the money for some extra crowns, right?

    With Triple Town the team at Spry Fox managed to breath new life into the match-3 genre. And Panda Poet does the same for word games. The gameplay is easy to understand and incredibly addictive, and it doesn't hurt that the whole experience is pretty darn adorable as well. You may think that all word games are the same, but Panda Poet proves that there's still life left in the genre.

    I had to force myself to quit playing Triple Town in order to write this review, which might give you some idea of just how addicting it is. It's almost scary. One minute I was logging in with the intention of taking a few screenshots and verifying a few notes, and the next I was grumbling that an hour had gone by and I hadn't written a word. Triple Town was already incredible when it made its first appearance on the Kindle almost exactly a year ago, but this new Facebook release manages to improve on what even then seemed like an almost perfect puzzle strategy game. Combining challenge, fun, and gameplay that can last for hours or minutes, Triple Town is everything a casual game should be.
