Sega Play! Baseball Review
Sports games are continuing to make their way to Facebook, but up until recently there hasn't been much for baseball fans to get excited about. Sega Play! Baseball fills this void with a decidedly casual experience, that seems designed to appeal to those aren't fans of the sport as well. It may be a little too casual, with not enough focus on the actual game of baseball, but Sega Play! Baseball is still a fun experience overall.Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Preview
By Jim Squires
Kart racing fans, start your engines! In a week of big game announcements, two iOS titles will easily make their way to the top of karting enthusiasts wish lists. One of these is Nexon's KartRider Rush. The other? Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.Kingdom Conquest Walkthrough
Kingdom Conquest is an iPhone and iPod Touch game developed by SEGA that allows you to build your very own kingdom, and allows you to conquer your friends with many complexities in the mix. Gamezebo's Kingdom Conquest strategy guide and walkthrough will provide you with a quick start guide, tips and tricks, hints and cheats on how to win.Kingdom Conquest Review
Amassing a giant army of monsters and taking control of a fantasy realm sounds exciting in theory, but in Kingdom Conquest it's actually rather dull. A unique mix of an MMO, strategy game, city building sim, and dungeon crawling RPG, Kingdom Conquest somehow manages to be both complex and shallow at the same time.ChuChu Rocket! Review
On 9/9/99 the SEGA Dreamcast was released into the world as the cutting edge console of its time. While it was never super successful commercially. it became quite beloved by many people as a console that consistently released weird little niche titles with lots of polish. ChuChu Rocket! was one of those games that we considered a Dreamcast classic, and it just hit the iPhone. Good news, the glory and fun of ChuChu Rocket! hasn't diminished in the translation at all.Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 Review
By Jim Squires
Growing up in the early 90's, I have my fair share of Sonic the Hedgehog memories to look back on. I remember buying my first SEGA Genesis - a version that came bundled with everybody's favourite blue hedgehog. I remember lining up to buy Sonic 2 at the local department store on "Sonic 2sday." I even remember spending countless hours playing Sonic Spinball with my friends. Now, thanks to SEGA, I have a new memory to add to that list.Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine Review
For a world famous doctor with an army of gigantic evil robots, Dr. Robotnik sure is cranky. That's why in Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, the villain best known as Sonic the Hedgehog's arch-nemesis decides to kidnap a whole bunch of beans to turn them into evil little robots. Or something like that. Really, the goofy story is just an excuse for some addictive puzzle action. But while the main puzzle mechanic is fun, the difficulty level gets incredibly high very early on and the game also suffers from a frustratingly archaic password save system.Ecco Jr. Review
Scientific fact: the only thing cuter than a dolphin is a baby dolphin. So Ecco Jr., a prequel to the classic Sega Genesis game Ecco the Dolphin, definitely scores some points when it comes to sheer adorable charm. But it's more than just the game's star that takes a step backwards, it's the actual gameplay as well. Ecco Jr. is much easier than its infamously difficult predecessor, so much so that it often feels as if there's no real challenge. It's also very short, clocking in at around an hour. So unless you're in the mood for a quick--and I do mean quick--bout of nostalgia, you may want to pass on Ecco's youthful adventures.
