Vacation Quest: Australia Review
By Brandy Shaul
Taking over where Vacation Quest: The Hawaiian Islands left off, Vacation Quest: Australia presents you with 28 different hidden object scenes to explore in one of the most basic setups in the genre. You'll be asked to simply complete scene after scene, collecting items from lists, until each day on your month-long vacation is complete. There's no story here to speak of and no freedom here to explore (other than being allowed to choose which scene to tackle first). If you're a fan of simplicity (and don't mind a lot of repetition), then this is the game for you.Popcorn Dragon Preview
By Jim Squires
When it comes to developers that routinely manage to combine the adorable and the addictive, few are as notable as PopCap. And yet, despite this reputation, it's been a while since the house of Peggle and Plants vs Zombies has brought anything major to market. Popcorn Dragon is looking to break from this quiet streak, bring an adorable, movie-loving dragon to the iPhone and iPad later this fall.Mystery P.I. – The Curious Case of Counterfeit Cove Preview
By Erin Bel
In the sixth game in PopCap's Mystery P.I. series you'll travel to the picturesque New England seaside village of Whaler's Cove, where counterfeit bills have started popping up as the town prepares for the fall tourism season. As the world famous Mystery P.I., you've been hired by the town to track down the counterfeiting ring before the fake bills ruin the local economy.Allied Star Police Review
The story of Allied Star Police has managed to spread across the Web and warm a lot of hearts over the past few months. In case it's managed to pass you by, here's the Reader's Digest version: nine-year-old Owain Weinert (who suffers from leukemia) was put in touch with PopCap Games via the Make-A-Wish Foundation because it was his dream to create a video game. As a result, PopCap had Owain work with one of its 4th & Battery teams. The end result was this gem of a title for iOS devices.Candy Train Review
By Jim Squires
When PopCap first announced their new indie label 4th & Battery, they promised games that were edgy and experimental. Candy Train, the second release under this new brand, is neither of these things. In fact it couldn't be more entrenched in the old and traditional PopCap ways if it tried. You see, Candy Train was originally a free PopCap Flash game on their website years ago. Now it's on the iPhone. The good news? Candy is just as tasty as ever.Bejeweled 3 Review
By Erin Bell
I'll never forget being at a certain game developers' conference several years ago and hearing one budding game designer stand up and ask the panel why anyone would ever want to buy more than one match-3 game. "Aren't they all the same?" was the question he was asking. The answer is, of course, "no, far from it," but here at Gamezebo we knew that already. Case in point is Bejeweled 3. After almost 10 years of Bejeweled, the latest title in the franchise still manages to give us new modes and variations to enjoy. Add to that crisp new high-res graphics and you have a sure fire winner for Bejeweled fanatics.Zuma Blitz Review
By Alicia Ashby
Zuma Blitz is an implacable foe of getting things done. It waits for you on Facebook, promising a brief burst of joy and color to brighten up breaktime, downtime, or writer's block. It a bit like opening a bag of potato chips: you keep telling yourself "Just one more!" until suddenly the bag is empty.Zuma Blitz is a perfectly balanced blend of arcade action and level-based progression that takes the format of Bejeweled Blitz and improves it with power-ups that are easier to use and the ability to level-up and get a steady stream of rewards. Please note: This game is being launched in stages to ensure load balancing and etc. - if you don't have access yet, check back again very soon.Bejeweled Blitz Review
By Jim Squires
PopCap rarely does anything without giving it a lot of thought. Nowhere is this more apparent than in last year's Facebook hit Bejeweled Blitz. PopCap's first foray into social gaming was a resounding success, boasting more than 25 million players since its launch. Now PopCap is doing what comes naturally - trying to put that success in as many places as they can. First they added Blitz to the sublime Bejeweled 2 on the iPhone. Now they've come along and released a full download version of Blitz for the PC and Mac.
