    Cloudstone is what Blizzard Entertainment's celebrated Diablo franchise would look like if someone dipped it in the same sugary coating that smothers Facebook favorites like FarmVille. The demons have been replaced with less disturbing foes such as gelatinous blobs, the usually cheerful setting stands in for the gloom of burning villages and the underworld, but its gameplay still relies on the furious and addictive clicking we've loved in Diablo for years. It's certainly worth a look if you like point-and-click action games of any sort, and it's relatively polite in its requests for hard currency.

    Had enough of Zynga's cutesy big-headed social avatars? Line up, homeslice. Better yet, just forego the farm next time you pop onto Facebook and play The Grinns Tale instead. The Grinns' wide, gap-toothed smiles are kind of horrific, but we mean that in the most endearing way possible. Make no mistake though, there's nothing unsettling about the gameplay that powers The Grinns Tale. Frankly,Nexon's mix of city building, strategy, and role-playing raises the bar on Facebook games.

    In the words of the great American philosopher LL Cool J, MapleStory has been something like a phenomenon, especially in Asia. Developer and publisher Nexon is hoping to add another chapter to its nearly decade-long success story with MapleStory Live for iOS devices. This freemium side-scroller isn't an MMO, but it incorporates enough of the series' familiar gameplay and feel that fans will no doubt want to give it a go.

    With the Facebook game market getting more and more crowded, it's becoming increasingly difficult for developers to make their titles stand out. Maybe that's why Nexon has opted for a truly bizarre premise for their Match-3 puzzle game, Zoo Invasion: you, as an alien, stack animals and then abduct them. Oh, no! Simba! To be fair, playing as an alien with grey morals does give Zoo Invasion its own identity, and it's a pretty nifty puzzle game to boot.
