City Cat Review
Russian developer Nevosoft (Million Dollar Quest, My Kingdom for the Princess 2) has taken the increasingly popular endless-runner genre and infused it with a healthy dose of 8-bit charm and adorable kitten action in the newly released City Cat. This new title finds its hero in a cute li'l cat named Pixel whose food has been cruelly stolen by a heartless gang of aliens. In order to reclaim his fridge full of goodies, he must now traipse across the globe's most beautiful and iconic cities dodging obstacles, picking up dropped foodstuffs, gathering coins, and upgrading his unique arsenal of powers.
Expedition Mars Review
I'll be honest, before I started playing Expedition Mars, I didn't know anything about the game other than its title, and the fact that it was coming from the same people behind the intriguing point-and-click adventure Hypnosis. But in a way, I feel like this lack of information actually allowed me to enjoy this engrossing point-and-click adventure all the more, as Expedition Mars turns out to be a game that's all about discovery, and making those discoveries completely on your own.

It seems a little scary at first, but it's also a proven psychiatric method of bringing all those inner demons to light, and working through any hidden issues you may have. Well Maya, the psychiatrist heroine of Hypnosis, swears by this method, and she's prepared to use it every chance that she gets to investigate the mysterious disappearance of her colleague and ex-boyfriend, Dr. Blanche, in this dreamy and hypnotic point-and-click adventure.

I grew up obsessed with the history of the pioneers and westward expansion. I can remember long hours spent playing The Oregon Trail in all its EGA glory. So I was very excited to get to review Pioneer Lands, a new time management/simulation game from NevoSoft. While Pioneer Lands does have its moments of fun, it feels very familiar and doesn't offer anything new. Still, the game is addictive, but it just doesn't have the feel you would expect from a pioneer themed game.
